I hear Trent Barton and Kinchbus are investigating whether footrests can be provided to help customers resist the temptation to rest their feet on face-to-face seats.

Seeing as I nearly always see this happen when I'm on a GNE bus (not so much with Arriva or Stagecoach for some reason!), I wonder if they may also look into the possibility of this?

Interesting, though I think that it will remain as an 'investigation'...

I'd imagine that the cost of installing every face-to-face seat on a bus with footrests would outweigh the costs of replacing the seat moquette periodically.
