(15 Sep 2015, 11:41 am)BJ10VUS I don't know about "ridiculous", as you have to consider where they are coming from and where they are going to after. Not all 33 buses per hour are operating solely between Regent Centre and Newcastle. And sending buses via Cowgate Roundabout instead of Gosforth High Street would just add to the 25 buses per hour between Cowgate Roundabout and the city centre.

(15 Sep 2015, 5:12 pm)Malarkey Curious Question.
Is there any NSAs for the X1A?
(15 Sep 2015, 7:42 pm)NK53 TKT I was on the X14 at 3:30 ish from Regent Centre to Brunton and it was full, however I was the only person on that sectorI can understand that, but when there's a bus pretty much every two or three minutes along that section of road, is it really expected that there would be that many travelling between Regent Centre and Brunton at that time, and on that bus? Maybe it seems excessive, but why divert other routes away from that corridor, as it would just add considerable time to some routes, as well as possibly just adding to congestion on other corridors. I mean, look at Sandyford, Cradlewell and the Coast Road, or Byker to the city centre, for example. Lots of routes, but all serving different places before and after.

Because most of the Arriva routes up Great North Road are express services, and going up Great North Road is the quickest and most direct route out of Newcastle, so it makes sense on sending them the more direct route.
(15 Sep 2015, 1:49 pm)Tom Yeah of course, Michael's main aim is to annoy you - I'm sure he has more important things to worry about than annoying you!
Anyway, great to see more proper B10s coming to Percy Main, hopefully it'll get rid of the crap dual door ones (5154, 5156, 5159 etc.)

(16 Sep 2015, 7:10 am)Dan I don't think it will allow for dual-door Volvo B10BLEs to be withdrawn from service just yet. The arrival of 4910 (W491 SCU) and 4914 (X914 WGR) at Percy Main has allowed 4911 (W411 SCU) and 4915 (X915 WGR) to go to Thorntons for DDA modifications, while Riverside's 4897 (V987 ETN) arrived last week too.
Also - I think 5298 - 5309 are all now branded as "See it, Do it, Sunderland".

Could have sworn I just saw a red MPD pass. There are no weekday GNE services through the village :s
(16 Sep 2015, 5:30 pm)S813 FVK Ok...what colour will 5292-5297 be repainted into? As 5291 was repainted second, I was going to assume (although i know i shouldn't! ) that 5291 was the 'barrier' of the blue repaints and anything above will be repainted a different colour.

(16 Sep 2015, 5:43 pm)Michael I wonder if 5337/5538 will be painted to form part of the PVR for the new Stanley services.

(14 Sep 2015, 3:23 pm)Dan Volvo B7TL 3967 and Volvo B10BLE 4916 at Riverside have gained front LED destinations (thus meaning that the former has a complete set of LEDs - the latter still retains flipdot side/rear).
(15 Sep 2015, 12:38 pm)Dan 6008/32 now have front LED destinations.
