(30 Nov 2015, 4:46 pm)Adrian Of course there's doubt, unless you're writing your post based on fact. It could have been anything that has broken down.

A single car would cause huge tailbacks, depending on the location of the breakdown. As it creates a bottleneck from two lanes into one.

Isn't the High Level 'buses and taxis only'?

I appreciate that it will take time but will the rest of the fleet with NSAs, WiFi, Plug Sockets and anything else get the more up to date stickers?

The High Level Bridge is 'buses and taxis only', and has been since 2008, but Adrian's point is still valid.

Go North East state on their website that the green 'talking bus' symbol is being gradually rolled out across all vehicles with the Next Stop Announcement system fitted.

I'd imagine that the same will apply to the other symbols, given that they are used as standard across all publications now.

(30 Nov 2015, 4:04 pm)BJ10VUS As Go North East are the main users of the bridge, it's the most likely. However, it could have been a taxi, X34 or X12, but I'm not too sure?

Stagecoach X34 no longer uses High Level Bridge, not since October.  All services operate via Tyne Bridge in both directions.
