(01 Jan 2016, 8:25 pm)Kuyoyo It was the other way round.

(01 Jan 2016, 5:20 pm)R852 PRG Possibly to try and maintain a link between Washington and Newcastle, if the X1 wasn't in operation?Deptford did help out Washington they sometimes do or the other way round
(01 Jan 2016, 6:23 pm)Dan The X40 service only operated last year because NUFC were playing at home.they use anything on there on matchdays to provide extra capacity
I don't think the 850/851 scholars services operated today, but at least three National Express coaches were travelling up and down the country today.

(03 Jan 2016, 12:37 am)Acky81 Really think service 39 needs new buses now instead of all the Gateshead cast offsIt depends on passanger numbers, if services 33/33A/39 make enough profit to show that they deserve invest in new buses then maybe, but if they did it would only be StreetLites, however, whenever I see them they usually carry fresh air.

In all honestly if the 33/33A were pointless and no one used them, GNE would of changed them after the normal 6 month review... same as the 39 changes..
Its coming up to a year since the 33/33A was introduced and the 39 changes and nothing has changed so they must be doing well.
Every service has a time of the day when few passengers are on the route and will have times when they carry fresh air.
That goes for all bus routes, not just for GNE services.

(03 Jan 2016, 3:30 pm)Andreos1 5302 looks to have had a coming together of some sort recently.
The majority of the o/s vinyls are missing. Couldn't see what colour/shade the panels were due to the poor light outside.

[quote='R852 PRG' pid='144596' dateline='1451912602']
8250 and 8251 have been withdrawn, they aren't used as driver training vehicles, unlike 8242-8248. They'll be sold when a buyer is found, or alternatively sent for scrap.

there was one bus out of this batch that went to alpha scrapyard but dont know which
