I travelled to Dublin from Newcastle by Ryanair earlier this week. Comparing it to the British Airways flight from Dublin to Heathrow I was on, I know who I prefer flying with!

Had my first experience yesterday as I flew to Dublin for the day. I flew out a week old plane that was in mint condition and for the £9.99 fare I think it was great value for money and it was on-time. Returning I had an even newer plane that has only been with the airline for 3-4 days and it was just as good. I do think the landings were a bit rough though!

In light of the comments I made earlier this yeat in the pricing thread about Ryanair lowering fares, it is interesting to read that profits are up 55% to record levels over the 3 months to June.
They're also looking to reduce fares further.
