Further reports are of SN16 OSZ at Giillmoss and SN16 OTA "passing through Cumbernauld" Both yesterday, but no fleet numbers mentioned, which is a shame as they are slightly detached from the sequence already delivered.

I understand SN16 OTS should actually become 10578. Although full details aren't clear, it looks like Ashton are to receive a large number of the order, with the remainder split between Hyde Road and Stockport.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the East Lancs Road, Gillmoss now have 10567/9 (SN16 OTC/E) in service, so presumably 10568 will be 'OTD, and then its any eight from 12 ('F-P/R) for the rest of the batch. Still no news on exact allocations, registrations or deliveries for Cumbria & North Lancashire's Dozen, though.

Latest update is that 10578/9 are SN16 OTS/U, and 10580 should be 'OTV. This differs somewhat from reports elsewhere. Further information on allocations - although this is from a single "external" source - is that they will be 31 for Ashton; 12 for Stockport and 10 for Hyde Road, numbered in that order.

Outside AD Falkirk this evening were London-red liveried E400MMC SN16OHR, with blinds for route 23 and corporate liveried E400MMC SN16OTY, which according to the list above is destined for Manchester.

EDIT: I must confess to not noticing if the red E400MMC had stagecoach logos or not - I just assumed from the registration that it was stagecoach, given others in the batch. However, i think route 23 is Tower Transit in London, so treat with caution.

I think there is some confusion over the registrations for Manchester's latest batch - over and above a late change in plans regarding the allocations! 10578/9/80 are SN16 OTS/U/V, not as listed above. Additionally, that list would mean 'OTY being 10584. However, at virtually the same time as this sighting of the bus still at the factory, "10584" was reported in service on the Wilmslow Road corridor.

A further update. The person reporting 10584 in service has since corrected their report. The sighting was 10582. This was on the 201 service yesterday evening (the first sighting of a '16 reg away from Wilmslow Road corridor services), and I can confirm it is registered SN16 OTX (not 'OTV which is 10580). It now seems certain that the ones used at Hyde Road (10578/80/2) are only on loan, whilst some of their own buses are at Wentworth, Exeter and will then be needed for the Parklife festival on 11/12th June. They will then become Ashton buses, where its reported they are intended to run 216 (in competition with Metrolink) and 330 (Ashton-Hyde-Stockport) which overall will require around 20 buses. 10579 is the only other of the batch confirmed delivered, but it is believed at least 4 more were due this weekend.
