We need them on the X21, I'm always hearing people upstairs bragging to their friends that they still get on with a £1 ticket.

On another note, I've always wondered what happens to the people who put their ticket straight in the bin when an inspector gets on, do they have to pay for another ticket, or do they just ask the driver if the passenger paid?

Ive had one or two on my short hop X21.

I would like to see more of them, but never too far away from one.

I do hope they replace it with a proper service, as I can see many people choosing the GNE service over the Arriva service, especially if they put half decent buses on it, but I can't see that happening

I suppose having Crook doesn't really make sense since it's only the X21 that runs in the area now, and it runs through Chester anyway.

Yes they proper leather with foam topper. I'd imagine 2hrs from end to end might be a bit uncomfortable. You'll just have to make sure you only ride the 69 plate ones Tongue

I don't find the older style uncomfortable by any means, the other day I spent a good 6 hours sitting on them between the X21, X66, 47 and the 49! But that extra layer of foam really does make a difference. You just sink in, I find them more comfortable than the leather seats in our car! Plus, the car doesn't have a table, sockets and WiFi!

Looking at the map, I wonder if Arriva do sell in parts and GNE get Ashington whether or not they'll do the following zones:

- Alnwick District & Morpeth
- Berwick

This would mean the following for travelling between the 2x points below:
- Morpeth to Newcastle = 2x Zones
- Morpeth to Ashington = 2x Zones

Hopefully with them moving the X21 to Chester and the removal of the X46, we'll get the X21 coming to Tindale (which is still spelled wrong!) later into the evening. Having the last direct bus leave Newcastle at 15:38 is a right pain in the arse.
