(15 Jan 2017, 4:18 pm)S813 FVK Good job a white white strip is still to be added - doesn't look anywhere near as good without it!

Is it just me, or even with the stripe, will it still look different to 5439?

On the one on delivery from Wright's, the raised rear part is completely blue. There is red present after the stripe on 5439. https://www.flickr.com/photos/bazza90/31984675101/in/

(15 Jan 2017, 4:24 pm)Michael Cool thanks Dan, do you know where about's the photo of 5451 was taken?

Hopefully the above buses will arrive soon and out in service quickly, so they can start repainting the Citaro's.

Can you confirm where the Citaro's from the Durham Diamond are going yet?

It was taken in Galgorm, near the Wrightbus factory, whilst on road test.

I see the "Fast Cats" branded Scania L94s are now undergoing repaint into the new corporate livery...

This is why the white swoop will now be done in vinyl - consistency for the size across all vehicles in the fleet.

Good job nobody other than enthusiasts will notice the guinea-pig Streetlite being slightly different compared to any future Streetlites! I doubt anyone outside of the enthusiast community noticed that the first bus which was repainted into Go North East red (from red, yellow and blue) used a different font for the 'Northern' lettering at the time that livery was rolled out:

(09 Jan 2017, 3:06 pm)Jamie M 6128 heading to saltmedows, cannot confirm what for but it's a lot unhealthier than it was last night. Might be paint work, I don't know Some damage to the rear panels, but nout like 6127. I believe the backside was already worked on, on this one though. Another bus down at Stanley though..

Good that it's actually been painted this time round like 😛
Last time it went in for backside repairs and paint, it came out unpainted and I thought I was going blind!
Good Stanley wasn't short like then, though.

Ah right, haven't checked the news so didn't see it.

My bad.

Wonder if the Scania's from the X5 will go on the 9 so the Citaro's can go elsewhere? (as the Scania's are also Euro 5), hopefully the 61 replacing some of the older Versa's in the Simplicity brand.

There was discussion a while back about certain buses recieving eminox mods and it being funded by various local authorities. At the time, the query was whether those vehicles were to spend time within the same LA. As an example :- DCC fund mods to 5216 - it stays on routes that go in to Co Durham. 20 and then X35/X5.

I have no idea if it was ever confirmed what rules applied to the funding and if the vehicles were obliged to work in a specific area.

Ah right, hopefully not.

Would like to see Citaro's back on the 61 though.

------------

Working it out, Deptford might end up with 3 overall spares, the one from the See it Do it brand and two from the 9, which would allow X5, 35/36 and 61 to have 3 spare Citaro's.

5337/5338 would go to Riverside.

------------

Citaro's from the Blaydon Racers would go to the Green Arrow

Riverside would have 4 Citaro's spares for the Green Arrow, Citylink and Crusader.

Just speculation on the Blaydon Racers though.

I am going to guess that 5452 will be the Riverside spare? If it is for Stanley, that would leave 10 Streetlites - all of which would be branded for Blaydon Racers without a dedicated spare.
