I'm beginning to wonder if there is something up with the Hybrid's? Never seen so many President's and OmniDekka's on the 21 before!

Me too, unless they're getting modifications at SM before they move elsewhere?, although not sure what modifications they would get.

It's part of the pvr though it is increasing substantially. I use it daily and have managed a whole week without jumping on a green angel.

It's not fantastic as the OmniDekkas are awful internally and the B7s are just worn out. I pointed this out to GNE around fare rises and the Angel stock actually getting worse. Standard reply back. NSAs, new buses, wifi and technology, none of which are benefitting Angel passengers.

Do they still have the route specific service Delivery managers? I remember Jeff Wrightsons face all over timetables during the pink days.

Not a fan of the branding. Personally would of had something more like C&C branding.

To me looks bit like a kids drawing

The TEN has been a serious brand, but now it looks like a playbius IMO.

If it ain't broke - don't fix it.

It's not bad, was expecting a cheap and cheerful effort! Left over flags from when 3964 was green almost.. Still a few more vinyls on the windows and staircase to go it looks like.

Certainly isn't cheap mind - think it will be a contender for the opposite, given the large amount of vinyl.

Compared to the current TEN, this one actually does a much better job of promoting the 10 service and what the service is all about. One of the better designs we've seen recently, in my opinion. Let's hope it doesn't get mistaken for the Cross Pennine brand, which looks fairly similar, from the perspective of the average punter.

The previous TEN screamed cheap, on the other hand, and not too sure what a bus with a pick'n'mix of different shades of silver does to promote the '10' group of services.

(12 Jul 2017, 4:49 pm)RBZ 5459 Another cheap and cheerful effort. Left over flags from when 3964 was green almost..! Still a few more vinyls on the windows and staircase to go it looks like.

There are elements of Toon Link and Red Arrows in there as 2 of the main components of the brand. I would have liked to see the route details on the offside flipped so the darker end is always facing the front of the bus, as per the Red Arrows.

I would suspect the move from silver to green has something to do with the move from metallic colours, as we have recently seen with the Crusader. I have no idea if the connections4 is to follow, although I suspect a darker colour like that will be easier to colour match. Then again, i'm no paint expert!

On the whole though, I do think it was time the TEN saw a brand refresh and I do not think that they have done a bad job of it. It had used the same logo since first introduced in 2008 which, to me, started to lose its effect. The new colour itself will draw more attention in as it will be something that people served by the 10/10A/10B will have never seen before.

Talking of vinyls, I noted the ex-Thames Travel Solo's still have reminders of their old vinyl's.

The 'swish' along the side is still apparent. With 'stain' on both the glass and bodywork.

If the new TEN was my brand, I would hope it wouldn't get mistaken for the Cross Pennine monstrosity either! Not exactly one of the designer's finest pieces.

In all seriousness though, I'd say it was one of the better brands as of late too. Looks nice and fresh, and it manages to achieve that without stickers all over the windows.

The USP of the TEN was its text name rather than a simple numerical 10.

How many other brands (of any operator) are identified by a (simple) text name? - this was brilliant marketing IMO.

In addition the livery was unique rather than appearing to be just a single-coloured bus (the bold (wine) band between the windows added distinction.
