That's a good list though Dan, doubt I would have been able to list all of that without having to ask a certain friend...

At least we can conclude from all of the above posts that Go North East and Trent Barton are on-par for offering relevant brand names..? As for judging the quality of the livery designs - I'm sure we can all bring out our inner Abraham Lubelski to voice our opinions in that respect.

Trent Barton have the Black Cat and Go North East had the Black Cats
Trent Barton have the Red Arrow and Go North East have the Red Arrows
Trent Barton (albeit jointly operated with SC) have the Pronto and GNE also have a pronto

Money back guarantees were an idea Huntley implemented at Go North East following its success with Trent Barton.

Lime - Historical context Relating to the lime kiln's in the area.
Prince Bishops - Links to Durham, a section of the route. The links are Bishops of Durham its there mitre i.e hat on the side of the vehicles, buses are painted in there color of Palatinate Purple.
Diamond - Historical context. The original routes south of Stanley were the services of J.H.Hammel who operated as Diamond, Go-Ahead Northern purchased J.H.Hammel.

Some of them (Blaydon Racers/Crusader/Red Kite/Waggonway spring to mind?) include details of the historical context behind the brand name but the majority don't.
