Lets hope the reliability of Leven Valley doesn't change... but it would be good to see the development of more services now maybe taking into account some of the other areas of operation.
(04 Dec 2013, 4:18 pm)Richard Smiles Interesting & a bit puzzling. In the most recent/current edition of N&P North East, Paul has increased his vehicle licences to 15 Vehicles, presumably to take into account cover vehicles he has been using or possibly in preparation for taking over the 555/556, 588/589 & R66 ?

Solo YM52TOU was working for Leven today on service 455/456 and then 507. Fitted with an ERG machine which Leven use!
Dart SN51UCR is currently away for repaint I'm told... The first to be repainted into the Procters style livery.

Leven Valley's ex Lothian Dart 191 is now in the process of being repainted into their new corporate colour scheme too.
(30 Jan 2014, 4:26 pm)Dan Ex-Lothian Dart 191 has now been repainted into the new corporate livery - it is seen on the photograph shared by Ian Wilson on the photograph below:
The first ex-Compass Royston vehicle to receive the new-style Leven Valley fleetnames is B7RLE NX59BYC. At present, it only has them on the offside and rear
In a change to the original plan, mainly due to a vehicle shortage, MPD W794VMV has entered the paint shop at Bowesfield Lane yesterday instead of the intended Y178CFS. Due to the repaint, it is expected to emerged with a new name, possibly 'Avalon', instead of Thunderbird One.
Information is thanks, as ever, to Richard Smiles.

Richard Smiles Dear All,
Further to my email yesterday with regards to Leven Valley’s Thunderbird One (W794VMV), Paul Thompson has now confirmed it is to be renamed Avalon when it comes out of the Paint Shop.
It was observed late last week (Thursday or Friday) leaning over quite badly & upon inspection it was discovered one of the springs had gone on the Suspension, this has been repaired, but it was decided while off the road to get it in for repaint.
I understand it is hoped the repaint will be completed by about Wednesday next week, but I am not sure how quickly it will return to service after that though, as I don’t know if perhaps its PSV/MOT is about due. ?
Or just due for its regular service.
Kindest & Sincerest Regards,
Richard
