It only sees its KLM and EZE flights now as well as flying school traffic and the Cobhams at the moment because of a lack of demand, and I don't feel that, with Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester as its competitors, it can bring airlines and routes back.

I wonder if there is some sort of partnership available with Teesport or SSI available?
Granted there won't be an aircraft in the world available to compete with some of the container ships out there, but if that part of the Tees Valley is picking up, there must be some opportunities at the airport too.
