(21 Jan 2015, 9:12 pm)MarcTheA4 @Robert - no point calling it Great Lumley mate.

No one from there is great. Wink

I think the knowledge of people in that place varies as you go through it. You start off in Great Lumley, where all the clever people live and then you move out and into Lumley Thicks, where (as the title suggests) all the thick people live.

@Robert - haha. Tongue

I've got a few friends (I say 'friends', I prefer acquaintance - being brought up in a nice household I don't like the idea of being associated with the place!) from Lumley (none of them ever say 'Great Lumley', if you're wondering! Wink).

The majority are unbelievable...

He needs support to help make people aware of the FPF and their antics. Wink

I sometimes just refer to it as Lumley but at the same time, you always get one 'mr get it right' that insists that it should be called by its proper name so i just do that anyway. I suppose cutting place names short isnt a good idea all the time. Especially with Chester and Chester (when they're not from the area).

(21 Jan 2015, 9:08 pm)aureolin There's one in Rainton that has the original 'Northern' sticker still.

Some lampposts in Newton Aycliffe have United stickers on.

(21 Jan 2015, 8:51 pm)Malarkey Thought I'd have a little trip up Seaham this morning, was a waste of time to be honest as the few photos I took came out blurry, but whilst out on this little trip I spotted this "Go Wear Buses" Bus Stop Sign, something which really should no longer be about, this sign along another situated across the road are positioned on Stockton Road (Glebe Estate/Four Horses) in line with Seaham Industrial Estate.

This then got me to thinking would it be worth getting in touch with Durham County Council in regards to the signs and seeing if they be kind enough to give them to an Enthusiast like myself, and then replace them with the correct signs, anyone have an idea how to go about doing this as I haven't the foggiest of ideas.
The only way that this would be certain of working would be if the existing sign was 'removed' then DCC would be required to replace it.

Is the telephone number still correct?

The Telephone Number on the Timetable for DCC was 0300 268524, And the Timetable was dated as of 26/1/2015 obviously been put in ahead of Service Changes so I would therefore assume that the Number is correct.
