Despite not having seen service at Deptford Depot due to suffering a severe oil leak; this vehicle has now formally been withdrawn from service at Deptford, and is now being prepared for return to Optare at the Saltmeadows Road bodyshop facility.

At Peterlee, it should act as the spare vehicle for the "indiGo East Durham" and "Wear Xpress" branded services in the event that any of the branded vehicles are unfit for service. One of these vehicles should also be allocated to scholars service 452 (Houghton School - St. Michael's RC Primary School) and workers' service 968 (Easington Lane - Waterview Park).
To combat issues with a large number of minibuses being unfit for service at Deptford; this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Deptford, where it will see primary allocation to "Sunderland Connect" service 700.
Having been replaced in the fleet at Chester-le-Street Depot following the transfer of Optare Versa V1110/Optare 8295 (NK09 FUT) from Crook Depot, this vehicle has been retained in a float/reserve capacity at Chester-le-Street, to alleviate vehicle shortages.

This vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside, on temporary loan, to operate duplicate trips on "Crusader" service 27. Due to an obstruction on the line caused by high winds, the Tyne & Wear Metro service was suspended between Pelaw and South Shields in both directions from 15:25 to 18:45 on September 19th 2018. No Metro Replacement bus service was in operation, however Go North East had Metro ticket acceptance on all of its services parallel to the Tyne & Wear Metro system. To combat high passenger numbers, extra resources were also added into the operation of "Crusader" services 26/27 between Newcastle and South Shields.
