Following the entry into service of Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 724 (YJ13 HMY) and 725 (YA13 AAE) at Crook on service 18; this vehicle has transferred from Crook Depot to Chester-le-Street, where it is intended to allow a further Scania L94UB/Wright Solar to be withdrawn from the fleet.

It is intended for this vehicle to transfer onward to Riverside Depot, where it will allow for the withdrawal of a further Scania L94UB/Wright Solar from the fleet.
This vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Crook, to operate service 18 (Woodhouse Close – Cockton Hill Road - Bishop Auckland – Canney Hill - Coundon).
This vehicle has transferred from Saltmeadows Road Depot to Riverside, on temporary loan, to operate duplicate trips on "Crusader" service 27. Due to an obstruction on the line caused by high winds, the Tyne & Wear Metro service was suspended between Pelaw and South Shields in both directions from 15:25 to 18:45 on September 19th 2018. No Metro Replacement bus service was in operation, however Go North East had Metro ticket acceptance on all of its services parallel to the Tyne & Wear Metro system. To combat high passenger numbers, extra resources were also added into the operation of "Crusader" services 26/27 between Newcastle and South Shields.

This vehicle has been repainted into the new fleet livery and refurbished internally (including renewal of seats to be re-trimmed in e-leather, as well as fitment of Wi-Fi and USB charging points), also receiving sub-branding for service 308 (Blyth - Newcastle).
Following the entry into service of the three new Optare Solo SR M790SE vehicles on the Durham County Council contracts at Chester-le-Street, this vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Washington. At Washington, it will be allocated to the Nexus-secured 23 service, operating between Washington Galleries and Barley Mow Estate, via Birtley and Wrekenton.
Due to changes to Miscellaenous Contracts; this vehicle has been reinstated into full service at Chester-le-Street, having previously been held in a float/reserve capacity.
