Following changes to Nexus Miscellaneous Works and scholars contracts, which has seen Go North East being awarded with over 70 of the available contracts, this vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Riverside. It has been allocated to Riverside to operate the newly awarded contracts at Riverside, and should see primary allocation to those scholars services which later run onto Go North East's own commercial services which operate higher frequencies at peak-times (such as the X21 and 10X) due to the better internal quality of this vehicle and lack of a centre-door.
Following the entry into service of the ex-London Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7s on the new Miscellaneous Workings contracts being operated at Deptford; this vehicle is now in a float/reserve capacity, though presently remains allocated to Deptford.

This vehicle, which carries a red and blue base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. It will be transferred to Chester-le-Street Depot in due course. These brand new buses feature Esteban Civic V3 seating albeit with blue ‘Go’ fabric seat moquette opposed to the now-standard leather; two-colour Tarabus 'Wood Effect' flooring; and blue accent lighting, which is fitted underneath seats, to provide extra light on the gangway. The depot's bodyshop and stores facility also remains in use at Saltmeadows. As there was not sufficient time to repaint these vehicles prior to entering service; they currently remain in Bluestar livery with Go North East fleet names, but are intended to be repainted on a one-for-one basis in the near future.
