This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot's Special Events Fleet to Washington Depot, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages whilst Mercedes Citaro vehicles in Washington's fleet undergo refurbishment at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.
Prior to returning to service, this vehicle has received Go North East's corporate livery. Unlike other vehicles in Go North East's corporate livery; this vehicle has not been fitted with a tagline or web URL vinyl, nor has it been fitted with advert frames on the side and rear.
This vehicle has received "Match Day Park & Ride" branding. Replacing the old "Soccerbus" brand, it is designed to promote the X50 service which runs between Metrocentre Coach Park and St. James' Park on all Newcastle United home matches, including pre-season friendlies. The new tagline for the brand is "Shop and dine at intu Metrocentre; watch til full-time at St James' Park".
This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into Go North East's corporate base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot.
Presently unbranded; this vehicle has returned to service at Hexham Depot, where it will see allocation to "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85. As part of the upgrade, the branding design is intended to be changed compared to the current "Tynedalexpress" branded Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles.
