November 2017 Go North East Following temporary loan to Crook Depot, this vehicle has returned to service at Chester-le-Street.
November 2017 Go North East Prior to returning to service, this vehicle has received Go North East's corporate livery. Unlike other vehicles in Go North East's corporate livery; this vehicle has not been fitted with a tagline or web URL vinyl, nor has it been fitted with advert frames on the side and rear.
November 2017 Go North East Photograph by Having carried an experimental version of Go North East's new corporate livery since its initial repaint in January 2017; this vehicle has now had its cant rail repainted black, matching the now-standard version of the corporate livery. It now carries the tagline "Recharge your batteries | Many of our buses have power sockets on board"
November 2017 Go North East Following the introduction of new vehicles on services X9/X10 (Newcastle - Middlesbrough), this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service. Whilst temporarily withdrawn, this vehicle will undergo repaint as well as internal modifications, which will see the installation of tip-up seats to create a buggy bay as well as the fitment of 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements, better matching the internal specification of the buses allocated to "Tyne Valley Ten" services 10/10A/10B.

The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

Sunderland AFC have recently launched ‘For Bradley’, a special fundraising campaign to create a holiday home for sick children and their families. The For Bradley initiative has been created by SAFC to honour the memory of six-year-old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery, the Blackhall youngster, who captured the hearts of football fans around the world as he bravely battled neuroblastoma. The Wearsiders will raise money through the sale of a special edition Adidas home shirt, which has affectionately been named as ‘Bradley’s Shirt’.

It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Hexham Depot. As part of ongoing improvements to services in Hexham, "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85 will receive an upgraded Mercedes Citaro allocation, with the existing Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles allocated to Hexham cascading to another route.
November 2017 Go North East Photograph by Ahead of the impending delivery of new double-deck vehicles for "Angel" service 21, representing a £4.3 million investment, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain light blue base livery. It will continue to see use at Chester-le-Street pending the entry into service of the new vehicles. Once the new vehicles enter service; this vehicle will cascade to Percy Main Depot where it will be allocated to "Coaster" service 1, providing an upgraded vehicle allocation on this service.
