This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Deptford Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain orange base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Hexham Depot. As part of ongoing improvements to services in Hexham, "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85 will receive an upgraded Mercedes Citaro allocation, with the existing Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles allocated to Hexham cascading to another route.
Ahead of the impending delivery of new double-deck vehicles for "Angel" service 21, representing a £4.3 million investment, this vehicle has been repainted into a plain light blue base livery. It will continue to see use at Chester-le-Street pending the entry into service of the new vehicles. Once the new vehicles enter service; this vehicle will cascade to Percy Main Depot where it will be allocated to "Coaster" service 1, providing an upgraded vehicle allocation on this service.
Having been released for cascade following the transfer of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 5229 (NK55 OLG) to Chester-le-Street, this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's corporate livery prior to assimilation into Riverside Depot's fleet. This example carries the tagline "Our buses run 35 million miles a year - that's like going to the moon and back 72 times".
Not used at Washington during its brief allocation to the depot, this vehicle has now been withdrawn from service at Washington. It is now in storage at Chester-le-Street Depot, where it will be stripped for spare parts.
Having previously carried "TEN" branding, this vehicle has been repainted into a dark green base livery. As part of ongoing improvements to services on the Tyne Valley, Go North East will re-brand its "TEN" 10/10A/10B/10X services as "Tyne Valley Ten" on a green base livery, moving away from the silver livery which the vehicles allocated to these services have carried since 2008. The new brand is designed to represent the picturesque Tyne Valley corridor and promotes the frequent buses to Metrocentre and Newcastle which the "TEN" group of services provide, up to every 10 minutes. Initially allocated to Washington to assist with vehicle requirements for the Lumiere event in Durham from Thursday 16th November to Sunday 19th November; this vehicle has now formally been allocated to Washington Depot, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages whilst Mercedes Citaro vehicles in Washington's fleet undergo refurbishment at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.
As part of a fleet-wide scheme to standardise the Stagecoach North East fleet in one single livery, this vehicle has been repainted into Stagecoach's corporate livery.
