November 2017 Go North East Photograph by Following the cascade of Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6141 (YN04 GJY) and 6142 (YN04 GJZ) to Stanley, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Stanley Depot. The withdrawal of this vehicle leaves just one of its type to remain in the Go North East fleet, Dennis Trident/Plaxton President 3889 (NK51 UCS), which has been retained beyond initial expected withdrawal to cover for fire-damaged Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5248 (NK56 KHU).
November 2017 Go North East This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Washington, remaining in the Special Events fleet, to assist with vehicle requirements for the Lumiere event in Durham from Thursday 16th November to Sunday 19th November. It may see use outside of this period on Washington Depot's Miscellaneous Works boards, if required.

November 2017 Go North East This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Washington Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

November 2017 Go North East Although originally intended to Riverside Depot for storage until the next Special Event following the end of the Sunderland Illuminations event, this vehicle has instead been retained at Deptford Depot where it is now classed as being "on loan". This vehicle is intended to cover for the "Prince Bishops" branded Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles which are off service to have an additional opening window installed at Saltmeadows Road Depot, providing better air ventilation following feedback received from customers.

The design has been slightly modified compared to the previous version, now no longer including a large white 'V' in the centre of the "Venture" logo, covering the windows. The 'V' is now less prominent and an outline of this letter is instead shown at the back of the bus. As per all recent designs; the fleet names have been modified to include the new company tagline, "Journeys taken care of".

November 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3941 (NK05 GZO) and 3942 (NK05 GZP) to Washington Depot to allow fleet standardisation of double-deck vehicles at the depot, this vehicle has transferred from Washington Depot to Stanley. At Stanley; this vehicle will replace some of the elderly double-deck vehicles remaining in Stanley's fleet, again providing further fleet standardisation to take place.
