This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into Go North East's corporate base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot.
This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Washington Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
This vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot's Special Events Fleet to Deptford, on temporary loan, to alleviate vehicle shortages whilst Mercedes Citaro vehicles in Deptford's fleet undergo refurbishment at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.
Although originally intended to Riverside Depot for storage until the next Special Event following the end of the Sunderland Illuminations event, this vehicle has instead been retained at Deptford Depot where it is now classed as being "on loan". This vehicle is intended to cover for the "Prince Bishops" branded Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles which are off service to have an additional opening window installed at Saltmeadows Road Depot, providing better air ventilation following feedback received from customers.

The design has been slightly modified compared to the previous version, now no longer including a large white 'V' in the centre of the "Venture" logo, covering the windows. The 'V' is now less prominent and an outline of this letter is instead shown at the back of the bus. As per all recent designs; the fleet names have been modified to include the new company tagline, "Journeys taken care of".

At Stanley; this vehicle will replace some of the elderly double-deck vehicles remaining in Stanley's fleet, again providing further fleet standardisation to take place.

As part of a fleet-wide scheme to standardise the Stagecoach North East fleet in one single livery; this vehicle has been repainted into Stagecoach's corporate livery, losing its sub-branding for services E1/E2/E6 as a result.
