This vehicle has been repainted into Arriva's new corporate livery. The company's new corporate identity, which includes a new logo and brighter colours, will be applied across the group in a phased introduction. The group said a 'cost effective and evolutionary approach' will be taken, which will see the new colours and livery rolled out from Q1 2017 as and when vehicles and other materials are due to be updated or repainted, while the refreshed logo is expected to be introduced from 2018.
Following repaint into Go North East's corporate livery, this vehicle has transferred from Hexham Depot to Chester-le-Street. At Chester-le-Street; this vehicle will be primarily allocated to services 13/14, X22 and X25, allowing the cascade of older examples of the same vehicle type to another depot.
This vehicle has received a special promotional livery to advertise the "Night Bus" N21 service. It is intended to act as a mobile advertisement for the service on the daytime 21 route, raising awareness of the 24-hour operation of the service on weekends.
This vehicle has transferred from Redcar Depot to Jesmond, on temporary loan, in order to release double-deck vehicles ordinarily allocated to Jesmond's services, which will instead be allocated to Metro Replacement service 900. All day on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th October 2017, no trains will run in either direction between St James and Tynemouth, to allow for the renewal of overhead power lines. During this time, Arriva North East will operate Metro Replacement service 900, calling at all affected stations.

Following completion of repaint and internal modifications (including fitment of tip-up seats for a buggy bay and fitment of 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements), this vehicle has been reinstated at Hexham Depot.
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into Go North East's corporate base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Hexham Depot to act as a corporate liveried spare vehicle for "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85 and "Tynedale Links" service 680.
