October 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of the former "Tyne Tees Xpress" branded Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs after the Masters Golf event, this vehicle has moved into a newly-formed Special Events and Private Hire fleet. This Special Events fleet comprises of various coaches and double-deck buses: these should not be allocated to public services, but will be brought into service to operate Park & Ride contracts, shuttle services, and other services associated with special events. These vehicles also remain available for Private Hire.

October 2017 Go North East Following the end of the Masters Golf event which saw this vehicle allocated to a special shuttle service to support the event, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Hexham. At Hexham, this vehicle will act as a spare vehicle for "Tyne Valley Ten" services 10/10A/10B/10X, replacing the older Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL currently serving this purpose at the depot.

October 2017 Arriva North East Although Scania CN94UB/Scania Omnicity 4664 (NK07 FZG) transferred from Jesmond Depot to Ashington in April 2017 to cover the additional vehicle requirements associated with the seasonal X18 service; that vehicle has remained at Ashington, while this vehicle has instead transferred from Ashington Depot to Jesmond. This has been done to reflect the upgrade of one running board on "Cross Pennine" service 685 from single-deck to double-deck, to combat high loadings on one trip from Carlisle, which is otherwise overcrowded.
