This vehicle has been withdrawn from service at Slatyford Depot, though remains at Slatyford where it will form part of the depot's Driver Training fleet, following repaint into Stagecoach's Driver Training livery and completion of internal modifications to allow use within the training school.
Although originally intended to transfer to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire following withdrawal, this vehicle has instead been reinstated at Slatyford Depot.

To assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements for this event, which will see Go North East operating a large number of Park & Ride services, this vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside Depot.
Despite the commencement of the new academic year and the resultant PVR increase on service 1, this vehicle has not returned to service at Walkergate Depot. It has been released for cascade from South Shields Depot, though currently holds a reserve position within the fleet at Slatyford Depot.
This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain orange base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Hexham Depot. As part of ongoing improvements to services in Hexham, "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85 will receive an upgraded Mercedes Citaro allocation, with the existing Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles allocated to Hexham cascading to another route.
This vehicle has been stripped of "Angel" branding and has received a promotional livery for Go North East's "Big Days Out" campaign. The campaign, which was originally introduced in the summer of 2017 but will now be ongoing for the foreseeable future, has seen Go North East partner up with a number of attractions and businesses to bring its customers some great family offers. Customers who buy a £10 Family Day Ticket are eligible for discounts at venues involved in the partnership. Prior to entering service; this vehicle has received "X9|X10" branding, featuring the tagline "Direct to the heart of the city". In order to combat the strong public perception that people who travel on public transport are beneath those on the Social Class hierarchy compared to those who travel by car, and to show car users that they do have some commonality with bus users, each vehicle with "X9|X10" branding will feature a different type of bus user. Following the introduction of new vehicles on services X9/X10 (Newcastle - Middlesbrough), this vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service. Whilst temporarily withdrawn, this vehicle will undergo repaint as well as internal modifications, which will see the installation of tip-up seats to create a buggy bay, better matching the internal specification of the buses allocated to "Tyne Valley Ten" services 10/10A/10B.
This vehicle has entered service at Deptford Depot, to be allocated to "Sunderland Connect" service 700. Optare has supplied this loan vehicle for a duration of up to four weeks, whilst they undertake longevity testing on Optare Solo SR M925 Hybrid/Optare 640 (NK62 DWY), as this vehicle is now five years old.
