Following the entry into service of former Go Cornwall Bus Optare Solo M920/Optare 713 (WK59 CWY) at Stanley Depot; this vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery, ahead of impending cascade to Percy Main, where it will be allocated to the newly gained Nexus contracts for services W1/W1A and 333. This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain maroon base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot for "Wear Xpress" service X5 (Sunderland - Hartlepool).
Having been temporarily withdrawn from service, this vehicle has now been released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.

In line with service changes which have seen Nexus-secured service 353 revised to operate commercially and part of Percy Main's "indiGo North Tyne" network as an extension of service 42, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Percy Main. At Percy Main; this vehicle will allow two of the existing spare "indiGo" branded Optare Solo SR M890/Optare vehicles to instead form part of the PVR of the "indiGo North Tyne" 40/41/42/42A services, with this vehicle instead becoming the spare.
