Following the entry into service of the refurbished Mercedes Citaros on "Wear Xpress" service X5; this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Percy Main, where it will allow Optare Solo SR M890/Optare 636 (NK61 FXD) to cascade to Hexham Depot for use on the seasonal Hadrian's Wall AD122 service.
This vehicle has been repainted into Go North East's new corporate livery. The new livery design is a a lot more eye-catching and features a two-tone base livery, with the traditional key colour of red towards the front of the bus, and non-metallic dark blue towards the back. This example carries the tagline "It's our fantastic people - all 2000 of them - that make the wheels on our buses go round and round"
Although intended to be allocated to Peterlee Depot for "indiGo" service 206, this vehicle has entered service at Deptford Depot. It has also received the tagline "No change? | Get your bus ticket on your phone with our mobile app"
This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain maroon base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Deptford Depot for "Wear Xpress" service X5 (Sunderland - Hartlepool).
Having been temporarily withdrawn from service, this vehicle has now been released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
Following repaint; this vehicle has transferred from Slatyford Depot to Stockton, albeit presently being prepared for service. The allocation of this vehicle to Stockton Depot is believed to allow for the withdrawal of older MAN 18.220LF/Transbus ALX300 vehicles in Stockton's fleet.
