Following the entry into service of MAN 18.240LF/East Lancs Kinetic 22509 (SF56 FKM) at Slatyford Depot, this vehicle has been withdrawn from service and is now awaiting disposal.
From 19th February 2017, Arriva North East will be making some revisions to its services in Stockton, Middlesbrough and East Cleveland. As part of these changes, "Sapphire" service 5A will be curtailed in Skelton and will no longer serve Skelton ASDA or Brotton. The revised terminus will be a clockwise loop of Hollybush Estate in Skelton, with buses returning back to Middlesbrough up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes. Following the cascade of VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 1512 (NL63 VRF) from Stockton Depot to Jesmond, this vehicle has moved from Jesmond to Jesmond (Reserve). It will be retained at Jesmond temporarily to provide an extra spare vehicle for the duration of Metro Replacement work, and, when this work finishes, it will be sold to Arriva Yorkshire, for use within their Driver Training fleet.
Following the transfer of VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 1474 (NK61 CYH) from Stockton Depot to Belmont; this vehicle has transferred from Belmont Depot to Redcar, where it will remain in a reserve capacity until Sunday 9th April 2017.
This vehicle has moved from Jesmond to Jesmond (Under Repair), whilst being refurbished and repainted to "MAX" specification. It is thought that "Coastliner" services 306/308 are both being upgraded to "MAX" specification. The existing Volvo B5LH/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 allocation will be retained on service 308, but service 306 will be revised to operate with VDL SB200/Wright Pulsar 2 vehicles, with the existing "Coastliner" branded Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid allocation deployed elsewhere.

New to Western Greyhound of Summercourt as fleet number 961 in September 2009, this vehicle passed to Plymouth Citybus in December 2014 where it gained fleet number 223. This vehicle has now been acquired by Go North East, where it has received fleet number 713. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot.
