During this time, Arriva North East will operate Metro Replacement service 900, calling at all affected stations.

Although Scania CN94UB/Scania Omnicity 4664 (NK07 FZG) transferred from Jesmond Depot to Ashington in April 2017 to cover the additional vehicle requirements associated with the seasonal X18 service; that vehicle has remained at Ashington, while this vehicle has instead transferred from Ashington Depot to Jesmond.
