January 2018 Go North East Following temporary loan to Crook Depot, this vehicle has now returned to service at Chester-le-Street.
January 2018 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle, which carries a two-tone black and green base livery, has arrived into the Go North East fleet. It is currently being prepared for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot. As part of the £4.3 million investment to upgrade the "Angel" service 21, which is currently allocated Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B5LHs, partially funded by a grant of £1,119,235 in Round 3 of the Green Bus Fund in 2012, Go North East has also ordered two dedicated spare vehicles to the same internal specification as the branded ones. January 2018 Go North East Following the application of "Coaster" branding; this vehicle has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Percy Main, seeing primary allocation to "Coaster" services 1/1A (Whitley Bay - Wallsend - Newcastle - Gateshead).
January 2018 Go North East Photograph by To ensure that the premium features such as free Wi-Fi, 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements and USB charging points advertised on "The Blaydon Racer" services 12/12A, "The Crusader" services 26/27 and "Citylink" service 57 are consistently made available to passengers, this vehicle has transferred from Deptford Depot to Riverside.
January 2018 Go North East Following repaint, this vehicle has transferred from Riverside Depot to Crook. The allocation of this vehicle to Crook Depot will see the conversion of the 18 service from minibus to midibus.
January 2018 Go North East Photograph by Although originally intended to return to service at Washington; this vehicle was intended to be transferred to Deptford from 28th January 2018, following the cascade of Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5262 (NK56 KJX) to Washington. Instead of being allocated to Washington to transfer two days later, it has returned to service at Deptford instead. At Deptford, this vehicle should act as the dedicated spare vehicle for "The 9", operating between Lukes Lane, Jarrow, Sunderland and Murton, from 28th January 2018.

This example has been fitted with the tagline "Our buses run 35 million miles a year - that's like going to the moon and back 72 times". It is planned for both Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3962 (JCN 822) and 3965 (574 CPT) to remain at Chester-le-Street and be allocated to the two double-deck boards on services 13/14/X25, to provide a higher quality vehicle on these services following the upgrade of the single-deck boards to higher-quality Scania L94UB/Wright... see more
