September 2017 Go North East Photograph by This vehicle has returned to Go North East following internal refurbishment and repaint into a plain orange base livery. It is currently undergoing preparation for service at Saltmeadows Road Depot prior to allocation to Hexham Depot. As part of ongoing improvements to services in Hexham, "Tynedalexpress" services X84/X85 will receive an upgraded Mercedes Citaro allocation, with the existing Scania L94UB/Wright Solar vehicles allocated to Hexham cascading to another route.
September 2017 Go North East This vehicle has been temporarily withdrawn from service at Riverside Depot and released for internal refurbished and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. The extensive refurbishment work includes, but is not limited to, external repaint; deep cleaning of the interior of the vehicle; renewal of floor coverings; cleaning all seat frames and re-trimming seats into leather with USB sockets on the back of every seat; fitting blue accent lighting underneath seats to provide extra light on the gangway; and fitting Next Stop Announcements.
September 2017 Go North East Following the cascade of Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4942 (NK51 OLE) to Riverside Depot, this vehicle has moved into a float/reserve capacity. Though presently remaining based at Riverside; it is intended for this vehicle to transfer to Deptford Depot, where it will cover for Mercedes Citaro vehicles away for internal refurbishment and repaint at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn.

September 2017 Go North East Photograph by Having previously carried "Angel" branding, this vehicle has now been repainted into a two-tone black and green base livery. Once repainted; it will receive a promotional livery for the Night Bus N21 service, which operates on Saturday and Sunday mornings between 00:15 and 03:15am, between Newcastle and Durham University, via Chester-le-Street and Durham City Centre. Although the vehicle may not be allocated to the N21 service itself, it will act as a mobile advertisement for the service on the daytime 21 route, raising awareness of the 24-hour operation of the service on weekends.

September 2017 Go North East Having previously been used by Go North East in May 2016 for a demonstration trial to evaluate suitability of this vehicle type on minibus and midibus routes in the company's network, it has now been acquired by the company again. It has been provided by Wrightbus as a courtesy vehicle whilst Crook-based Wright StreetDeck 6304 (NK16 BXD) is off the road undergoing mechanical work, and as such will be used by Chester-le-Street Depot to release a double-deck vehicle to Crook.

September 2017 Go North East Following completion of repaint and internal modifications (including fitment of tip-up seats for a buggy bay and fitment of 'Next Stop' audio-visual announcements), this vehicle has been reinstated at Riverside Depot. Though intended to be allocated to Hexham as a replacement for the older Volvo B7TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini vehicles which are allocated to the "TEN" group of services in the event of a branded vehicle being unavailable for service, this vehicle, as well as all of the other former "Tyne Tees Xpress" branded Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 vehicles, will temporarily be retained at Riverside to assist in the coverage of extra vehicle requirements... see more

September 2017 Go North East This vehicle has received a promotional livery for Go North East's "Big Days Out" campaign. The campaign, which was originally introduced in the summer of 2017 but will now be ongoing for the foreseeable future, has seen Go North East partner up with a number of attractions and businesses to bring its customers some great family offers. Customers who buy a £10 Family Day Ticket are eligible for discounts at venues involved in the partnership. This bus is one of four which will receive a promotional livery for the campaign - each example is different, with this one having a beach theme.
