Report published on Borders Railway performance.
On 156499 and stopped at MetroCentre and NSA said "this is Newcastle where this train terminates", something's not working properly. Also when at Newcastle before departing it said the next stop is Newcastle

Mock-up for Highland stock. Extra storage for bikes, skis and snowboards.
Yesterday scotrail class 156 467 was with a northern sprinter (no clue which one as I was only interested in the scotrail) doing the Newcastle to metrocentre services. Forgot to mention yesterday.

One ScotRail is stabled at Heaton overnight to operate the 06:30 Newcastle to Glasgow having run the 16:13 Glasgow to Newcastle the previous day. Similarly the running board below is operated by a ScotRail train. Obviously with the strike action that day trains have ended up here there and everywhere.

08:03 Carlisle to Nunthorpe
11:20 Nunthorpe to Hexham
13:57 Hexham to Newcastle
16:19 Newcastle to Morpeth
16:52 Morpeth to Carlisle
Scotland's train operator ScotRail to be nationalised

Strike action at Scotrail.

Not sure of the ins and outs of this one, but the last quote made me chuckle
