I am aware there is a Thread for Football and Gaming already on NEB, But as Fifa 15 which is out Friday 26th September 2014 covers both Topics, I thought by Fifa having it's own Personal Thread it would eliminate having a Conversation spanning across different Threads, in turn forcing Members to look at both to read about the Game, Hope the admins don't mind as I am sure they are Fifa fans also.
With this Dedicated Fifa Thread there is plenty of scope for Conversation such as:
- Gameplay: What's your favorite parts of the Game, Could be anything from Graphics to Different Game Modes i.e. Career Mode or Ultimate Team.
- Team and Player Recommendations: Have played with a Team or Player in particular that you were amazed by, if so please share, whilst we on the Topic of Player Recommendations I have found a Website with all the Players/Teams/Ratings and Statistics you'll ever need, it is the perfect scouting tool I think, having used the site in Fifa 13 and 14,

Continuing on here are the Official Player Rating for the North East Teams

I would also Recommend watching the following Youtube Videos by (mgh) to find Players also, I find his Videos to be quite helpful on the following link -
https://www.youtube.com/user/Playstation3GamingHD - There are Numerous Videos already Uploaded to his Account for Fifa 15 covering the Best Under 23's/19's and 18 Year Old Player in the Game, You also have the Richest Clubs in the Game etc along with a few other Videos, This stuff could be very helpful when deciding what Team your going to be and which player to Buy, no doubt the Majority of Users from the NE will be one of the above Teams, unless they are "Glory Seekers". Think that all but covers the above for now, if I see anything else I will edit this Post and add it in.
Youtube or Personal Videos: This topic of Conversation could be quite Entertaining for all Members as it gives us the Opportunity to Laugh at each others Funny Videos when something goes wrong in the Game i.e. Players having a Wrestling Match when they come tangled together after a Tackle, which was quite common in Fifa 14, on the flip side this could be used to show off Goals you have scored whether it has been a Screamer for 30 Yards or a Superb Attacking Move from Box to Box ending in a Goal, it's Entirely up to you.
Can think of any other Talking Points atm, But if you have any PM me and i'll edit the Post, Hopefully this will be a Successful Thread over the coming Year.
Can't play FIFA to save my life though the game does interest me and I enjoy watching others play.
I'm more of a Championship Manager kind of guy.

I've barely played 14. I used to be on it non-stop, but it bores me a bit now. I hate online gameplay too, as there's too many that will just quit if they're getting beat. Either that, or they'll insist on being a 5* team.
I always remember playing a kid who was Spain, and I picked Darlo. Beating him 3-1 at half time and he quit.
Sensi Soccer, Prem Manager or Champ Manager raised the gameplay bar back in the day.
FiFA and PES might 'look' better, but doesn't hold the attraction or addiction that those three offered.
I don't play online too much due to those who exit the game when there getting hammered, which annoys me and me off playing that Game Mode altogether, I tend to play Ultimate Team here and there but I find that quite boring at times, for me I prefer playing Career Mode out of all the Game Modes on offer, To be Honest I have every single Fifa since 1997 with the exception of 2003. As for other Football Games on the Market I really Football Manager, as I can't stand PES as it's feels to arcadey for me, and there is never really any major changes with the Gameplay either.

Sensible Word of Soccer was the absolute zenith of all football games. I think every country was represented to some degree. I remember playing as a team in the Second Division of the El Salvador league. Even Champ Manager didn't offer that level of detail.
Have been trying to think the three letters that I used look for against a potential.player.
S, H, P - def
S, T, P - def/mid
S, F, P - forward/striker
It was always something like that. Used to work wonders - no matter how cheap the player was.

Why shouldn't they spend time on the inclusion of women's football? It's a massive positive step forward if you ask me.

The main game modes of Fifa are Ultimate Team and Career. Each year it's the same old bullshit with bugs on ulimate team, and career is the same old each year. Something like an online career mode would be better.
I do agree with you, and I think it's brilliant as an extra, but I'd say they should be focusing on Ultimate Team and Career rather than including womens football. If it's the same old crap on Ultimate Team and Career then I won't be happy.
Surely representing the opposite sex in what is seen as a primarily male sport, in something as big as FIFA, is more important than some game modes?
Can't believe the amount of narrow minded teenagers on Facebook etc in uproar about the inclusion of women in FIFA. Quite ashamed to have grown up with some of them, really annoys me, most women footballers will accomplish more in their lives than any of them ever will do.
On a more positive note, well sort of, I wonder how Newcastle players will be rated, especially if "the best coach in the league" is still in charge...
Don't play FIFA myself, always preferred Championship Manager and now football manager...
I would love to see the Women's Game get onto Football Manager, but I was told by a Sports Interactive Employee a while ago it would not be worth putting the Women's League System on FM just yet as there would be very little interest in it...
But I hope to see it one day
I'm not against it, but why should the main game modes be left alone just to introduce a womens football mode?
I wouldn't mind if it was alongside improvements to the Ultimate Team and Career, but I'm not sure it will be.

Is there anything they can really do to improve it now?
Also, if there is anything, I'd want them to spend as much time as possible, so it's quite good in a way that they aren't rushing any potential developments

Yeah they can do a lot to sort out the bugs in FUT.
Also, they could introduce an online career mode.
Both are the main game modes, and FUT is what sets Fifa apart from other football games. So if nothing has been done to improve FUT, I will be very disappointed.
The whole idea of any sort of product is to make it as appealing as possible, so it can sell better. If they introduce a game mode for women, that will make the game more appealing for them, as, to me anyway, the game seems to mainly appeal to men. I don't understand how improving something long established can be more important than expanding a new idea.

Well you obviously don't play Ultimate Team...
I've never really bothered with FUT. I can't see the point in paying money to play a game that you've already paid money to play?

Shadow your comments - In my opinion FUT is just a rip off once you take into accounts the costs of Live etc

Do I need to have done this, to make a valid argument?

I just play career mode, FUT to me is pointless
FUT is great, and you don't need to pay for anything, you can build up coins by playing matched etc. Buying additional coins is optional.
As I said, I don't have a problem with them introducing women on Fifa, but the core customer base is FUT and career. How many people will play with women? Not many at all.
There are a number of things that could be improved with both of the core modes, career and FUT. So if they've spent time adding women into the game, and done fuck all with FUT and career mode that would be a disgrace. FUT has a number of bugs which need to be sorted, and career mode could be improved. For example, Player Career could be more realistic, for example giving the option to start as a sub, and allowing you to manage wages as an option, that would be a lot more realistic. Same with manager career, you should be able to choose your own pre-season fixtures, more options in simulated games, e.g ability to make a substitution.
Even during gameplay it could be made more realistic, for example, if a player is injured show medics around them, as that would be a lot better.
On the basis of adding Women into Fifa 16, I dont think would take much doing to honest, as all the mechanics(Coding) and features of the Game are already there, so all EA will have to is a few Head/Body Scans of the Female Players and insert them into the coding which is already created from previous games, All the coding for the Career Modes etc will be exactly the same also I would think, just edited slightly so it Female rather than Male, really isnt hard to get your head around really.
Besides the Game isnt due to be released until 25th September 2015, So there is 4 Months to go yet before EA have the finished article for Fifa 16 this year, plenty of time to add all sorts of new features, fix bugs and improve gameplay etc, with further announcements from EA regarding the Game in the coming months, I would expect to hear more information regarding the game at E3 which is scheduled to take place between the 16th-18th June 2015 in Los Angeles.
P.S Tom FUT is Shite, and that is the "End" of that conversation.
The adding of Womens Football is for International Teams only to play in Game Modes Match Day, Offline Tournaments & Online Friendlies, so basically the standard Game Modes, No Career Mode etc unless anything announced further down the line.

Quite like the idea of Pre-Season Tournaments as I usually simulate Pre-Season Games, also like the Player Training feature so that you able to develop players in your team, particularly youngsters who dont have good stats.
