It is indeed - for the X1.
The fleet numbers for these vehicles are shown
here - they were added originally when it was thought the vehicles would form part of Arriva's 2014 orders.

Yay! looking forward to them entering service soon as it should mean the end of Solos and MPDs operating the 1/5/5A.
I'm going to have to learn the Bishop - Crook section of this route soon though.

I cant clearly see the fleet number - there is one on there. Possibly 1592? There is deffo a 2 on the end of it.

I fully zoomed in and it looked like 1590 to me!
EDIT: Front one looks more like 1592, though.

Looks like it could be aye, and providing that fits with the fleetlist it looks like a pretty good assumption

Yeah it is quite difficult to see the fleet number, could possibly be 1592 as they will have the fleet numbers 1590 - 1594.
I can't tell at all.
I thought it was 1592 myself, one of the 5 for Darlington.

Do you know if GNE's streetlites will follow this pattern?

With thanks to the Arriva North West Facebook page, it has been confirmed that in addition to the 35 Alexander Dennis Enviro400s for Green Lane's 12/13 and 15 routes, Speke will be receiving 12 for the 75 service and Birkenhead 6 to replace older deckers on various routes. These buses are due towards the end of the summer I believe.
Bootle's other Enviro400s are registered as follows: SL15LME/LMF/LMJ/LMK/LML/LMM/LMN/LMO/LMU/LMV/LMY/LNA/LNC/LND/LNE.
Also, the Streetlite order for Birkenhead is untrue and can be removed from the list.
Confirmed Arriva UK order for 2015:
• 165 ADL Enviro400
• 11 ADL Enviro200
• 12 Wrightbus 10.8m StreetLite Midi Hybrid
• 34 Wrightbus 11.5m StreetLite Max Hybrid
• 4 Wrightbus 8.8m StreetLite Micro Hybrid
• 6 Optare 8.8m Solo

Non for Ashington. Lots for Blyth?

Would imagine that within the next few years there'll be a big order for Ashington and Blyth (and other depots) to replace the Darts. Think I remember asking about them a few months back, and Tyresmoke said they had lower book values than some Cadets?

Ashington received 12x E400s and 3x Hybrid Streetlites last year though?
On top of that, another 7x E400s upgraded to MAX spec, and another 10x E400s upgraded to Sapphire spec.

Look at Blyth, quite a modern fleet. However in Ashington, we have quite an aged fleet. Mostly London cast offs replacing London cast offs.

Wouldn't say Ashington has an aged fleet?
12 14/64 reg E400's
8 09 reg E400's
12 57 reg E400's
3 64 reg Streetlites
2 05 reg Omnicities
5? 05/55/56 reg Darts
The rest, granted is more than 10 years old but they're hardly used on very profitable services, and mainly as spares?
You surely can't expect Arriva to fork out hundreds of thousands of pounds for spare vehicles and use on the 34 for example?
Interestingly, the fleet ages of each depot are very similar. Discounting anything for disposal that is.
Ashington = 2008
Belmont = 2007
Blyth = 2008
Darlington = 2008
Jesmond = 2007
Redcar = 2008
Stockton = 2007
Whitby = 2009

I'm positive that, if you went back to even 2012, those averages for some depots would be far older than that (older than 2004/5), I think that Arriva really need to be credited for the recent investment.
I've updated the top post (eventually!) to reflect the current delivery status...
Note there has been a few additions to the "confirmed" order posted by Bus & Coach Weekly recently, especially the additional Solos for Hinckley
When are the MAX ones for the X1 due?

The Streetlites have been sighted at Wright's both on test and on delivery so they should be here any time! The E400's are due in the next few weeks too

Just to clarify the Enviro400 situation, it seems the Arriva North West Facebook page were mistaken and actually referring to Streetlites not Enviro400s when confirming Birkenhead's order of six new buses. These are for the 487, a route which can't accommodate double deckers anyway. So, to confirm, it is 47 new Enviro400s for the North West which are starting delivery now, 35 for Green Lane (routes 12/13 and 15) and 12 for Speke (route 75). Birkenhead is thus due 6 of the 11.5 m Streetlites (route 487). Sorry for the earlier confusion over this - the Facebook post was really ambiguous.
The remaining Enviro400s are 6 to Sapphire spec for Southern Counties' Maidstone depot (route 101). This accounts for the full order of 165: 100 for the North West, 34 for Yorkshire, 9 for The Shires, 9 for Wales, 7 for the North East and as mentioned the 6 for Southern Counties.
