Also, what's usually used on the X50 on Saturday's?

4910 & another 4 or 5 buses are used on X50/Soccerbus - usually DD's

Got a week off week after next, will try and photograph some then! Should all be on the road then too lol... Try and get some shots enroute like I did with the Sapphire launch.

Jesus Christ, way off with my figure then. Tongue

Still, 49p per use of the station at multiple stations... Adds up, especially for a service which may just be scraping profits.

50p. Nexus never have change
Am I right in hearing Riverside's opening date has been put back slightly due to a tiny detail oversight?

No, Riverside will open on time and there is drainage in the bus wash if this is what you are referring to.

Ah right haha Smile Yes it was that.
Of the five or so early morning runs I've seen of the 56 today, no B9s... Sorry, Michael!

6098 is out. Left Concord heading to Newcastle about five minutes ago.

What is the reason for Connect change? Or I am been stupid?!
(06 Jan 2014, 10:00 am)idiot wrote [ -> ]What is the reason for Connect change? Or I am been stupid?!

busmanT (one of our GNE insiders) said that the change was to introduce more journeys to the "Sunderland Connect" 701 service (which previously only operated on nights only, from about 7pm). This was required to combat high loadings on "Sunderland Connect" service 700, and is to be operated by a SPD which works a scholar beforehand.
Thanks Dan.

So both the 700 and 701 are operating during the day I take it...

I most admit when ever I've seen the 700 it's often full or standng room only.
So will the 29a run the full route on evenings and Sundays

Why isn't 628 used on this? I also assume Nexus isn't paying for this as doesn't it need to be euro 5 in that case as the 700 is? 628 still makes more sense to keep the right branded bus on. I know it interworks with a scholar which will require something bigger I assume, but could that not work off something else? What did it work off previously?

The 701 worked off the 700 previously, as it only operated on evenings when the 700's PVR decreased.

I assume the evening runs will still be operated by the usual Hybrid.

Sorry dan, I meant the scholar. What was the scholar worked off before.

Oh right, no idea on that one - a question busmanT will hopefully answer when he comes back online.
Does anyone know what the mid-day 921's run off or how they interwork with the x1?

Looked at timetable and can't see a gap in the x1 running...
