Not for much longer - due to be refurbish once the Peak timetable finished on the 93/X93 with Civic V2s replacing the current seating. (And that's in all 18 of them, not just the 4 that are tacho-fitted).

I understand they'd planned to do the Y-reg Lowlanders too, currently fitted with urban90 seating. I'm not sure whether they're still on the 'to do' list - they're a bit old to be spending much money on now I would have thought!
Stockton based Cadet 1912 is on Redcar services X3/X4 and 64A today, another loan to help cover some of the gaps in their allocation....
Solo on 64 to Sherburn seen at Durham about 12:35, don't think that's particularly common.

It's not that rare, the 64 seems to get anything.
4653 seen on service 24 at Peterlee today, also 1430 and another u/i/d out on the 22.

In the words of a great man - keep it simple ! Or in ANE's case, maybe not !!!
I've been out and about on the recently changed services in Newcastle, and this is what I saw:
51 - The link from north Whitley Bay to Newcastle isn't really used, but the services is quite busy for local journeys. I rode the service from Newcastle to Whitley Bay and it was busy from Newcastle to Wiltshire Drive, then quiet to ASDA, average from ASDA to Shiremoor, quiet from Shiermoor to Newsteads Drive, and average the rest of the way. It is allocated Solos.
52 - Not a busy service at all. I was the only one on from Killingworth to Four Lane Ends, but a few got on at Freeman Hospital. It is allocated anything, but mainly B10BLEs.
54 - This is a very busy service, especially Killingworth to Whitley Bay. The service left full from Killingworth, and it was well used the rest of the way. The Killingworth to Newcastle has average passenger numbers. It is usually operated by Pulsars.
4663 was on her knees with front suspension problems at Peterlee at around 3:15 having come of the 24 from Durham. What on earth are they doing to these busses?!
Service changes in Northumberland from 27th October are described
here
Some of the main points see service 35 become 35/35A and frequency is increased to every 15 mins between Morpeth and North Seaton.
Service X15 sees the 1943 Newcastle-Morpeth extended to Alnwick.
I understand that an outstation at Alnwick will open shortly.
Redcar Pulsar 1439 was in Stockton depot tonight looking ready to be picked up.

4653 is still a Belmont bus as I had it last night on 46/43
Price Enquiry:
Does anybody know how much will it cost me if I travel from Peterlee to Sunderland 5 days a week in the morning and make the return journeys from Sunderland to Peterlee in the evening, and is there a weekly saver ticket that I can purchase on the Arriva bus between Peterlee and Sunderland?.

The £25 Durham County weekly ticket would cover this journey.

A 2-Zone buzzfare is £24, but yeah, I would get the £25 ticket, as there is a bus every 15 minutes from Sunderland to Peterlee.
Thank you for the info guys.

Also there is the £26 ticket that covers the full Arriva network.
I find this ticket the best value if i want to travel outside the Durham network.
Does anyone know which of the Geminis have the X1/X2 branding on the upstairs front window?

As starter I have checked my flickr photos and can confirm that 7620 and 7626 have front window advertising for the £15 weekly ticket and 7627 has the £5 ticket advert on the front window. I will be making a few journeys on the X2 in the morning so hopefully I will get some more info assuming I don't get one of the Pulsar runs.

7619 additionally, it has the £15 weekly one as well as 7620/6.
