Blimey. Anyway, on another note, I think the next route in Northumbria to be upgraded to Sapphire will be the X10 / X11 or the 308.
If Blyth wanted to after the 5 year is up on the 308, they could do it like this:
- X4 / X5 with 9 B5LH's + 1 dedicated B5LH spare
- X10 / X11 with 12 X10 /X11 branded Sapphire E400's
- 308 with 10 308 branded Sapphire E400's
- Blyth with 3 spare generic Sapphire E400's

X10/X11 won't go Sapphire now they are MAX. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the X4/X5 doesn't get a similar treatment next year.

Not odd - X20/20 is booked for DB250s (which is what the Lowlanders are).

Are they going to the current ones or different ones

DB250 means anything from the Spectras, Lowlanders or ALX400s. As the Spectras are both officially disposal from next week, and the Lowlanders are off to Durham in the near future, the X20/20 will likely either be the ALX400s or the B7TLs (once all 11 are back at Ashington).

Well it may be a mixture doesn't bother me I like them all they have their own unique difference everyone of them
Other odd workings today saw Stockton B10BLE 4502 end up on the 5s after 1456 broke down (again) in Guisborough, it came off the 9/27As where it was replaced by Prestige 4062.
Redcar had Gemini 7485 on the 81s, also on Tuesday they had Pulsar 1432 on 22/64s which is pretty rare.

Seen working its afternoon trip on the 17 - unless a different bus was taken out of the depot, it will have ended up on 17/27 this evening
