Branded for the X34.
19196 was the first to be branded, I believe, but she is also off-road at the moment (or rather, was on Monday/Tuesday).
I assume the others have been completed since!

16840 is the latest Olympian taken out of use as a result of the arrival of the Tridents. However, rather than coming off this week with the entry into service of 17027, it has actually been off the road since last week.

Not sure how long its been there but yesterday noted South Shields 27733 working for Slatyford on the 10/11/ in Newcastle. Have Slatyford got anything major off the road as they seem to have had a few loans in lately (22341/27736/27733)?
09 Jun 2013, 5:02 pm
22341 is allocated rather than a loan.

Why is stagecoach Sunderland services 3 13 and 16 always MAN buses? Surely it doesn't matter which route they go on as they are not branded like go north east
10 Jun 2013, 9:04 am
Although it was kinda obvious based on current PVR's, Sunderland's gas Scania Enviro 300's have been confirmed for the 16 and 20. Incoming Enviro 200's will be replacing the remaining Dart PVR - keeping Darts as spare allocations.
27733 has joined sister 27736 at Slatyford on loan.

It'll be down to seating capacity, I think.
I've seen plenty of Darts on the 3 mind, but I can't say it happens on the 13 or 16 as frequently.
Darts are usually out more than the MANs on Sundays these days, from what I've observed.

Just been reading Tonight's Sunderland Echo AND yet another Stagecoach ALX300 was involved in an accident at around 19:45pm last night whilst operating service 16. It collided with a Silver Vauxhall Corsa. Police are investigating what happened.

Usually how it works. They used to have all Enviros plus ALX300s 22072-82 out to cover every vehicle (think the number of buses out on the road on Sundays is something like 28 off memory), with the Darts being spare for any VORs, but they started to allocate the Darts rather than the ALX400s at the start of this year. Not a clue why!

Disruption to all services during Sunday 7 July 2013
During Sunday 7 July 2013, Sunderland City Council will need to temporally close the southern end of John Street and the western end of Borough Road to facilitate essential roadworks associated with the Borough Road highways improvements scheme.
Last Updated : 25 June 2013 14:28
On this occasion, Borough Road will be closed between Foyle Street and John Street, including its junctions at John Street and Frederick Street/ Toward Road. This is to allow for highways surfacing and road marking works.
During the periods of this road closure, Stagecoach buses will be diverted as follows:
Southbound Services 3, 4, 13, 16 and 23 will be diverted from Wearmouth Bridge to operate via St.Mary’s Way and High Street West. These services will temporarily observe the westbound bus stops outside Marks and Spencer’s and at Londonderry Hotel, and will be unable to observe their normal bus stops on John Street, Holmeside or Green Terrace.
Northbound Services 3, 4, 13, 16 and 23 will be unaffected by this closure on Sunday 7 July.
Westbound Service 5A will be diverted from West Lawrence Street via Sans Street, West Wear Street, St.Mary’s Way and High Street West. This service will temporarily observe the westbound bus stops outside Marks and Spencer’s and at Londonderry Hotel, and will be unable to observe its normal bus stops on Borough Road, Holmeside or Green Terrace.
Eastbound Service 5A will be unaffected by this closure on Sunday 7 July.
Westbound Services 10 and 11 will be diverted from Tatham Street via Borough Road (east side), Sans Street, West Wear Street, St.Mary’s Way and High Street West. These services will temporarily observe the westbound bus stops outside Marks and Spencer’s and at Londonderry Hotel, and will be unable to observe their normal bus stops on Borough Road, Holmeside or Green Terrace.
Eastbound Services 10 and 11 will be unaffected by this closure on Sunday 7 July.
Service 20 will be unaffected by this closure on Sunday 7 July.
Services E1, E2, E6 will be unaffected by this closure on Sunday 7 July.
Clearly, whilst we will be endeavouring to operate all services in accordance with their published timetables, as well as continuing to liaise with our colleagues at Sunderland City Council to mitigate any problems, due to the increased mileage required to operate via the diversionary route, there is the potential that some trips may be subject to localised delays.
Stagecoach would like to apologise for any inconvenience these highways works by Sunderland City Council may cause, and we remain grateful for customers’ patience and understanding.

22195 and 33126 are both over the pits at Sunderland
22077 was also there minus half of its windscreen, so im assuming this was the bus involved in the accident in Sunderland this afternoon.

Was it definitely 33126? The has been undergoing cannibalisation at Slatyford for a while now.

Yes definatly- i was surprised too as i thought it would only be leaving Slatyford to go for scrap.
