Out of interest, do you ever have anything positive to say?

No offense, but every time I see one of your posts it's nearly always just you pointing out a problem.

BIB: 22488, as you said yourself (before I actually got the chance myself, as I spotted them both) was one of Wednesday's pair with 22465.

BIB&I: 22667 can't have been one of the mystery pair - considering it's at Hartlepool in reserve now Wink

Despite suffering chassis corrosion a few months ago, 16839 has just recently been repainted again:

One would assume that the vehicle will be repaired and see use at Sunderland on SAFC Match Days...
Cheers Dan For Info. Have a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Regards Robin
One of the NEXUS workers is on the 23 in Sunderland, asking where people are going, what pass you have and how much you paid.

Regular activity by Nexus across all operators

Ye seen him loads of times on the buses, nice bloke.
Something I hadn't realised until today is that Stagecoach are running Saturday service on Christmas Eve for the first time. Not a good idea when it means people can't get in to work, or have to use a car, especially on a day when they might be planning to have a drink.

Only Arriva of the big three actually running a weekday service. Stagecoach on Teesside are however running normal weekday trips on 794s and running the Wednesday ASDA free bus.

I see GNE are even running Sat service on Friday 2nd Jan. Gets worse and worse for people who rely on buses for getting to work.

It's not for the first time, Saturday service last year too
Stagecoach Christmas Eve is definitely the first time as I found last year's publicity still on display on the net!
Historically has always been the case in Tyne and Wear. (Or at least the last decade?)

I'd think the new network on Teesside probably only leaves a few gaps in provision (which of course will need to be balanced against how many folks will actually be travelling early in the morning?)

Funny that cause I've looked at the duties that we used last year and guess what, Saturday duties
There's not a huge difference in Monday - Friday and Saturday operations really... This is not unique to Stagecoach, it's the same for each of the big three (at least in T&W).

A few earlier/later journeys which probably won't even be used much on Christmas Eve anyway...
