Sorry guys I'll explain. If they know a service is going to be late they will send another vehicle to cover it from the terminus. e.g. 36 is late arriving at the Marina but the dupe is already there to run the next part of the running board for it. The late bus arrives and then blanks off to catch up and either transfers passengers or depending on the length of service let the dupe run the whole journey. That way there is no lost mileage, that's why you will of seen the bus come from a different way. If you go to the Parkway there has been a stream of dupes covering the 12/39 that are failing drastically ( i did foresee that as did most of the drivers )

I agree with your foresight... There's no way the 12/39 can possibly work without upping the running times drastically. Needs extra layover on there too
Was a Dart on the 4 yesterday (believe it was 35156) and looks like there is again today.

Non DDA MAN 22215 on 12s, too.

22674 on 59/61 today, been E300 most of the time recently, and newbie 27160 on 12/39
Branded 27166 was in a completely different time zone today on services 12/39  Rolleyes
Also on there was MAN 22475
22081(?) on 4s today in Sunderland - a non-DDA example, I imagine, will be on 12s to fill the void.
22196/197 on 12/39 today
27507 on X47
22410 on 72
How come they've done away with the 13A variation and running the schooltime 13s via Hall Drive now?
27180 on the 35 around half 12

Followed that on the 58 up Durham Road this morning on my way home from work - an unbranded example was also on 35/58 (58 boards work the xx31 35 from Stockton, 52 boards works the xx01).

I think it's because all of the school finish times have changed for Oakfields, meaning they're no longer necessary.

Apart from the few oddities on a morning. The running boards will usually operate 5 58's then run a 35 and so on.

The 13A should never of been really as the 14:30 13 from Hemlington gets all the kids, and I mean ALL the kids, around 70+. I speak from experience. So by the time the next 13 or would of been 13A would have no kids to collect. Oakfields get out around 14:30 and Acklam Grange 15:00. You will notice any 11/12 drivers going down Acklam Road around this time making a mad dash for safety.

Always thought it odd that you would divert a service to actually MISS passengers rather than provide extra capacity.

It was probably to pick up the "little red army" (as we used to call them) from Acklam Grange as majority of Oakfields used to walk down to get the 11/12 anyway.

27161 spent the day on 58/35 and looks likely to still be out working 58/59/61 (58/35 should be MAN ALX300s)
17027, 22063 and one other MAN ALX300 spent the day on 52/35 along with 'Zone Out' 27172
17025 spent the afternoon on 59/61, working the last trip to Tesco
22471 replaced an E300 on the 36/38
