Do you know when the fleetbook will be out?

Rode Gold in Oxford and Max in Northumberland (not done Sapphire yet) and there isn't much between them to be honest.
If the engines had been updrated like the Metrobuses and OK Olympians had done, to give them some oomph, then maybe I would have been more impressed.

Having never rode Gold myself, just going off pictures, I thought that the seating looked far superior to that of Sapphire and MAX, as does the colour schemes, however I know pictures can be deceiving. As I've no idea, does Gold have Next Stop Announcements?

Me neither. One of the reasons I need to head over to Carlisle for!

Wonder if they'll ever introduce a Gold route in the North East...

The shape of the seat makes them far superior. I'm not a huge fan of e-leather seating, but the seats on Stagecoach Gold ADL Enviro400s are really quite comfortable. Off memory (was a long time since I last sampled the X4 at Peterborough), the provision of power sockets is not offered, but the Wi-Fi service was very good and seemed quite fast indeed.
The brand is consistent - no matter which depot the service operates out of. Much better than the offering around our parts...

The seating has a special section on their website -
http://www.stagecoachgold.com/comfortable-seats.aspx
Despite whatever ergonomics are on offer, I prefer something soft and relaxing to sit in. Leather or e-leather just doesn't do it for me, whether it be on the plane or on a bus.
When the vehicles on the X84/85 were on the 20's, I loved sitting on the seats. They were lovely and comfy.
It is interesting to note, the budget and charter airlines have been using 'leather' for a few years now.
I never noticed or paid attention to next stop announcements to be honest.
Sat down, plugged my earphones in and watched the world go by, until it was my stop.
I have done the S1 and S2 in Oxfordshire a few times now, but will have a look next time I use them to see what the next stop arrangements are.
G12? Any info on that service?
It might be worth checking the date - I've just realised what it might be
Grr! I should of woken up first!
Excluding the Volvo B5LH/ADL E400 MMCs due imminently for Dundee...
Does anyone know when the first new vehicles of the 2015/2016 will begin to arrive to their designated depots, as there have been no new vehicles made/delivered for over a month - the last ones being the ADL E300s for Wigan and Barnsley.

Can you not wait? Until the Stagecoach Fleetbook 2015 is formally published and available, then details can be revealed. Until then, my top quoted post remans.

Is the Enviro 200 Euro 6 on sale/being ordered yet. Looks a leap forward from current Euro 5 design:

Posted on Stagecoach thread as they seem to be the main if only purchaser of AlexanderDennis in the region. (Brian Souter's relationship/interests)

Haven't got much for up here, although I note a few without the destination. Just have to wait and see.

Those left without a depot alongside them are ones that can't publicly be revealed yet.
As for the North East, what I posted in the North East thread days ago is all we are getting - 17 E300s and 19 E200s.

Don't know too much about Stagecoach routes in the North East, but are there any that could receive "Gold" buses?

From 1st March 2015; xx15 xxx. From 1st September 2015; xx65 xxx. xx64 xxx reg buses would have been delivered by 1st March 2015.

Well there's no chance of that!
The new vehicles could be 15-reg, 65-reg or 16-reg, depending on when they are built.
As with last year, vehicles mentioned in the new Fleetbook with allocations are normally those due prior to the end of September. All of the North East vehicles will be delivered prior to this date.
I can confirmed however that South Shields' Enviro200s will certainly be 15-reg as they are due 'early summer'.
Does anyone know what happened to the final Enviro 200s of the 2014/2015 order - 37280-37290?
Originally listed as due for the Isle of Arran (Strathclyde purchased & owned Streetlites presumably put paid to that) then a possible hint that they might be going to Worthing.
Presumably they have been cancelled?
Does anybody know when Oxford's E400 MMC's are due and also what routes they may be for although I suspect they are for routes 8, X30 and 31?

The New E400 MMC's for Oxford are due for delivery in mid-late July 2015.
