Probably because they've taken 6 new vehicles and only given 1 away so far!
2 Pulsars were on the 22... not sure if it's an off route or not?
Following up the sighting of 1515 on the X66 yesterday, over the past couple of days its been for:

for a run out to sunderland on the 21/X21 on Wednesday 29/04/15
For a run out to Colburn on the X26 on Thursday 30/04/15 and
For a run out to Middlesbrough on the X66 Friday 01/05/15

Lets see where it is tomorrow

Meanwhile Darlington now put Man ECOCITY out on a night, Rarest one ive seen is 4812 out on the 5A (01/05/15)
1577 (branded 23) on service 24 just entered Peterlee for Hartlepool. 1415 (max base) on service 24 heading other direction to Durham.

When does service 22 and 24 become Sapphire brand, since e400's have entered service 7 , the 7 pulsars must be getting rebranded for service 24 at the moment or near future.

I'd guess until they're officially "launched", the allocations are going to remain fluid.

As it stands, I think Belmont has received most (if not all?) of their "Sapphire" liveried Streetlites for service 22. They seem to be seeing allocation to other routes resulting in standard specification Pulsars being allocated to service 22 as a result.

1515 also had a run out to Barnard Castle last week. Sapphire on tour!
Was it you that said they faced losing their subsidy for the gas if they didn't increase the mileage on the EcoCitys? At least 4812 would have kept to time on the 5A!
Yesterday Stockton somehow ended up swapping 1442 onto 9/27A with 1457 going on X12s.

May have been me, not 100% sure but surely if 4812/3/4 are on the 21/X21 they should use enough gas rather than the ones round town

Meanwhile today 4814 was spotted on 2's with a rather nasty dent in it & of course 1515 was on the 7's today

Yeah, I think the ex demonstrators are ok given all of the miles they do up to Sunderland, and it would be natural for 1515 to be on 7's today!

4809 is awful on the 5A, because of the length of time the doors take to close after the repairs it had.

It's bad enough sticking to the 5A timetable on a night as it is without shoving EcoCitys on it.

Isn't one of the evening boards on the 1B EcoCity operated too as I saw one on there heading past Burtree Gate on a Bishop Auckland bound 1B on Friday April 24th.

Yes mate, both 5A's and one 1B is all gassed up on an evening. But yes, 57 minutes from end to end is tight in a Solo.
Ashington's 7507 was on a "Contract" on Friday night, heading from the general direction of Amble, towards either Blyth or Cramlington (I saw it near Woodhorn about 6.30)

AN 20. Was previously N20, the driver has selected the wrong destination as it is supposed to say "Bingo Bus".

Amble Fourways to Blyth Bus Station (for Mecca Bingo) it runs four times a week, there is one on tonight. I'll try and get a timetable uploaded.

7509 is likely to be on the AN 20 tonight.
4659 is on the X21/22
X12 branded decker on the 6.

Assuming this was an evening working then that's booked to happen as the two interwork on a night. There is a 6 board that ends up on X12s as a result

Aye, it was tonight.
1498 was on service 2/11 today, Later replaced for 4814
(NOT RARE) 4802 replaced something on the 21/X21 as 4802 was spotted on 2/11 earlier as well
Forgot to mention odd workings on Teesside yesterday were 1460 on 5 (replacement for 1555 with a flat tyre), 4702/6 on 81... 1101 was in Stockton depot in the afternoon not sure why.
