Meanwhile, there is an ex-London DLP in the depot.

Any idea which DLP it is? A batch of these have been 'missing' from London for months!

It's in the 2x range, the front bumper is missing so I couldn't get a reg, but I want to say 26.

So has 4813, so guessing 4811 and 4812 have got there's too
The DLP at Ashington is DLP103 (LF52 URJ).

Yep, with TfL blinds too. [attachment=6974]
X12 workings are slightly different on Saturdays, with one of Durham's weekday boards worked by Stockton on Saturdays while Durham work one of Stockton's weekday boards on Saturdays,

To clarifiy:
Stockton work the 0725 from Middlesbrough on a Saturday (Durham work the 0715 weekday version) finishing with the 1735 to Durham (1740)
Durham work the 0720 from Durham to Middlesbrough which Stockton work during the week at 0705

EDIT: I'm however not sure what works the 1810 from Middlesbrough to Durham on a Saturday as it works off a 17 board during the week
Some news from Stockton this morning...
1912 was back in service yesterday on 17s, with 1902 now back in the corner of the yard (along with 1753 1756, 1901, 1908, 4501, 4506)
1423 has arrived from Durham
2807 is on loan to Redcar for Moorsbus this weekend and we have 1101 in it's place. Hopefully a bit more successful than previous Solos we've sent...!

Oh and we don't do that 1810 X12 so it must be a Durham run
Must do the 1810 during the week as I'm lead to understand the Pulsar board on the 17 does an X12 on the end, and that does the 1640 X17 to Ingleby Barwick then the 1716 17 back, that is the only X12 that fits into the rest

Yup but you were on about Saturday which is a Durham run (off the 1805 arrival, logically)

If it did, it was 5+ minutes late last night - certainly hadn't shown up by the time I left town on the 1832 59

£7 is for an All Zone Triple Ticket, so you can only use it in the Morpeth, Ashington, Blyth Valley, Tyne and Wear and Tyne Valley Zones.

A £7.70 day ticket can be used on any North East service, with a couple of exceptions.

Not 100% sure on this, but I think 7505 was on the X22 today/this evening. So whatever was wrong, wasn't massive

Could have been 7505 being its usual self, I've saw it broken down twice now. It'll be on par with 7466 soon...  Wink

Love 7466! Was that always breaking down like?!

I saw it on an Alpha truck last year and my tutor told me that he saw it blocking a roundabout in Blyth.
Buses breaking down is a fact of life... Everything will break from time to time, some more than others maybe, but it doesn't mean they're the worst in the fleet. Those DAFs are certainly tired compared to when we first got them though!
Meant to mention that 1423 entered service at Stockton today, our latest transfer from Durham. It's been on town services 9/27/27A
does anyone know if the red london bus is going to be refurbished?
Looks like 1800 has received the Best Impressions "free WiFi" sticker on the second nearside window.
Having read through sone posts from June, i found this image on a google image search.

Dare I say it, but a modern low floor bus would suit a certain paint job[attachment=6981]

Sorry I do not kniw who made the image but well done. I think they have done others with Wear Buses liveries and so on.

Cheers
FIX THE DARLINGTON 5/5A TIMETABLE!!!

Journey I'm waiting was 6 minutes late and that was the last time I looked on the Live Map so it's probably 8 minutes late now.

I'm fed up, this service is a joke [emoji35]

Yeah, sadly I feel the timetable doesn't meet the demand of the service, often leaves Bishop Auckland Bus Station on-time then by Shildon it often racks up a delay of around 5 minutes.

Said this many times before but I still think the 5/5A needs more running time on the Bishop - Aycliffe section of the route, but instead they took 3 minutes out of the Shildon - Aycliffe section and shoved them 3 minutes into the Aycliffe - Darlo section which didn't need the additional running time. Sorry but this is how I feel and I think this is the cause of the problems on this service.

Additionally the bus was 1511 and the announcements weren't working, just displayed Arriva, Go on, get on.

It's the section between the bus station and Cabin Gate that's the problem. 6 minutes to do that stretch when it can take you 10 to get to Asda.

Is 7478 the one which has the National Trust Yorkshire castle advert on the back? If it is it was on standby at Ashington today.

Think that's 7473? Certainly one that used to be at Jesmond
