ALX300s 22050 and 22070 both carry the 'South Tyneside College' adverts carried by Go North East Citaros 5310 and 5329:

What will Stagecoach be allocating to the 510 for the Airshow tomorrow, Apologies if this has already noted and I have missed said post elsewhere on the Forum.

They've said mainly deckers. Take from that what you will.

Kicking myself as I didn't manage to get any photos of the Olympians (managed to ride 16833 though)... A few photos below of today's 510 offerings:

I'm kicking myself for not getting a ride out on 16839. It was looking really smart too, for a bus of it's age.

It was only repainted last December, so the paint should still be pretty fresh on it. 19643 and 22050 were also immaculately presented.

I have to admit that I wasn't particularly fond of the seating in 16833. The 'back' of the bench-style seating had pretty much no cushion there whatsoever (although the bottoms of the seats seemed to have recently been re-trimmed?). Great performer, but poor level of comfort.

Could well be my final ride on one of Stagecoach's Volys, though, so all in all a decent ride!
Anyone know the reason why the air show service is numbered 510? Bit random

How, you were stood just across the road from 16833 when the Enviro in front left.

I rode both 16833 and 16839 (actually rode 16839 twice!) Also rode one of the recently acquired Enviro 400s. Oh how I am not looking forward to uploading photos Enviro 400 after what happened the other day, might write the description in block capitals.

The supervisor stood in front of the bus, meaning that I (and the bloke that was standing with me) couldn't get a photo of the Olympian. We couldn't even get a photo of the Enviro400 until it had actually pulled away, for the same reason!

Know what you mean I had that problem myself at times for GNE and SNE photos.

The only problem I had with getting photos of the Go North East buses was when the Service Delivery Managers were coming over to talk to me and I was missing the buses by the time they'd finished talking! Tongue

The disadvantage of being well known, fortunately for me the only people who may know me there today were other enthusiasts although many enthusiasts won't be able to put my name to my face although some may have discovered my identity when Lee Calder shouted "hi Jimmi" Also I was papped on the front seat of 16839 on my first journey on it.

Saw a few enthusiasts I recognise on and off the forum but was too nervous to go and talk to any of them.
Was MAN ALX300 22067 also at Sunderland today?

I didn't see it when I was there. 22050 on the shuttles, 22070, 22082 and the T-reg Wheatsheaf example (22214?) were in the depot, and then there was another on the 12. Other than that, I can't recall seeing 22067.
19385 was also on the 510 shuttle today.

Seem as we are sharing shuttle photos...

3 car traffic collision at Barnes outside Toby carvery. Ambulance on Scene
8 months after the changes the Hartlepool Victoria Road 36 stop still has the old timetable on display, with through buses to Park End and journeys which have since been axed. Ridiculous!
