Gateshead Interchange Stand Changes: http://www.simplygo.com/news/gateshead-i...july-2015/

Personally think some Stands are overly over bused and could of been better allocated by Nexus, but when do they do anything the simple way, if it was me doing the allocating it would be something like this, might need a few adjustments mind, although saying that Gateshead Interchange could do with some more Stands..

Stand A: 1/1A/93/97
Stand B: 94/94A/X30/X31/X70/X71
Stand C: 49/49B/49C/64/64A/95/96
Stand D: Q1/Q2 (Newcastle Bound)
Stand E: 28/28A/29/TB29/X25
Stand F: 53/58/58X
Stand G: X66
Stand H: 56/N56/57
Stand J: X1/X1A/921
Stand K: Q1/Q2 (Heworth Bound)
Stand L: 1/21/N21/X12/X21
Stand M: 27/X9/X10/X34/X36

Q2 does not go to Newcastle from Gateshead.

Forgot it changes into the Q1 doesnt it.

Q1 starts at Gateshead does a orbit round the surburbs of Gateshead, back into Gateshead Metro then across to Central Station.

Q2 starts at Central Station, operates via Quayside to Gateshead then does an orbit round the surburbs of Gateshead back into Gateshead Metro, but goes the opposite way around the Gateshead area compared to the Q1, so does not really change into a Q1.
Malarkey has done exactly what i had done when i first read the changes on the website (i don't know if you can remember a couple of months back?)

It did (eventually). The route map on the GNE timetable certainly helped make things more clearer. It seems so basic now - makes me look like an arse  Blush

I wonder if the people of the "Suburbs" not "Surburbs" of Gateshead will understand the above without any sort of confusion crossing there simple little minds Wink.

I dont think I do Citaro5284, think I need the Q1 from Gateshead to Newcastle, then the Q2 back over.

Do you want to me to dig out a Notepad and Pen, or would prefer to speak to Jeremy about your problems Wink

The situation at Four Lane Ends is ludicrous, buses travelling out use stand E which when in a full size bus is very tricky to turn out of on the A188, I think buses should use the following stands:
A-1 and 32
B-18 (Forest Hall), 55 (Forest Hall), 68, 493 (both directions) 794
C- 52, K1, K2, 62, 63 and 554 (Quorum)
D-18 (Wallsend and Walker), 18A, Racecourse Special and Metro Replacements
E- 555 (special stand)
F- 62, 63, 335 and 353
G- 52, 55, morning 38s and 32A
EDIT: Current stand map:
