As last season, would it be ok to us this seperate thread for football results, we have a few Stelling Wannabes and I think it is best to keep results seperate to stop clogging up the main footy thread

Pretty good result for Newcastle, very good performance by Krul, and the rest of the defence funnily enough. May have won it at the end, with Cisses cross inches away from finding the boot of Thauvin. Man U seriously need a striker!!

Great result for Darlington today who beat Blyth Spartans 2-1.
Very close game, spoilt somewhat by Blyth's poor disciplinary record... Blyth went 1-0 up on 50 mins, however 3 inspired substitutions (that many of us questioned at the time!) from Martin Gray changed the game and we scored 2 in fairly quick succession to take a 2-1 lead and 3rd place in the league!
