I'll be up early, but sadly I won't be at Showbus Sad
I'd rather kick myself in the bollocks than do a 500 mile round trip on a Sunday, but I'm sure it'll be a decent day for those who do head down there. Smile
Where is it? And when

To be fair there's no Go North East buses in amongst the usual 400ish that attend so that means nobody here has interest lol

Each to their own, I guess..!

I wouldn't say nobody is interested, if I could get there I would at least consider going to this but unfortunately it's not possible for me to travel down there. Some on here are mainly interested in GNE, nothing really wrong with that.

I heard that sort of thing loads before the 2014 MetroCentre Rally, they were all saying about nobody wanting to bring buses because of the amount GNE were bringing along.

I recall seeing that the 500 Group were putting a trip on to Showbus.

Some only go for preserved vehicles - their choice ain't it? Smile

Metrocentre Coach Park is massive, and there's more than enough room for everything.

Don't really follow anything bus related outside of NEB and Flickr so I often miss stuff like this. Really need to sort myself out.

Just looked on their Facebook and apparently they have four spaces left but I'm not sure if I would be totally up for it, especially as I'd be out for much of the day before at some gig/festival thing and I'd also have to find someone willing to drive me to Stockton for the 6am departure.

Just do what one of the Stockton residents does, and just spend a week camping out on the High Street...  Big Grin

Not ideal when I should be in Sunderland tomorrow night and Hartlepool on Saturday. I'm certainly very busy this week, I'm currently in Newcastle. Will try and get to Stockton tomorrow morning for the Stagecoach Connecting the Dots Launch.

I don't even have Facebook to contact them, so I'd have to sign up to that if I wanted to go.

We didn't even get as far as them at this year's. It was massive.

Annual trip - 500 Group go every year in partnership with Generation Travel. This year using Setra S222GEN. It'll be sleep for me down to the rest stop about half way down.

I don't spend a week camped on the High Street thank you very much. I do have other things to do (course in Billingham the last three weeks plus trips to Middlesbrough to try and solve the mysteries of Stagecoach Middlesbrough Workings)  Tongue
I'm going to give Showbus a miss this year as I've had a fair few things on in the last few days and also have more things to come next week including a trip up to Edinburgh next Saturday so I am currently a bit worn out now so the long trip down to Showbus will probably kill me and I am starting to run a little low on funds and now I've just booked a trip to Manchester for December to see the Libertines along with another Manchester trip for Muse in April so that has left a hole in my pocket.

May possibly attend next year.
Showbus always seems to happen when am in a foreign country
Worse Showbus ever.

We turned off the M1 at 1020. We left the coach to walk when it was towards the back of the queue at 1200. The coach finally got in about 1245-ish. The last entry finally arrived onto the site at 1400. And we left at 1600. Many stuck vehicles holding things up.
