Given that it was just officially withdrawn the other day, do you expect them to have another President with ''Pronto'' branding to just be rolled out overnight? Also, as has already been stated, with rumoured investment in the X21 soon; there is little point. If that is to be true, it's not worth the money to brand another.

The "Coaster" branded vehicles at Percy Main are in the process of receiving free passenger Wi-Fi. In addition to the branded vehicles being installed, red spares 5273 and 5274 will also be installed. Should any of the branded vehicles be off the road, these two red Scania OmniCitys should be used as preference to cover for the branded vehicle.
This follows all of the "Coaster" branded vehicles recently undergoing a deep clean at Thorntons, improving the quality of service for passengers.
Anyways do you know if 5294 has been branded yet as I saw 5296 on 27 earlier still unbranded but it will Probs be done tonight can you confirm this

Think pdiddy mentioned that 3875 is covering at Crook. Using buss14's logic; it wasn't professional of Go North East to allow 4897-4902 and 4906-4909 to run around on the 8/78 from August 2014 until May 2015, with only 4853-4855 branded. Would be pointless de-branding 4853-4855 or branding the corporate-liveried vehicles.

Question has 5294 been branded yet? also my other question is 5296 getting branded tonight?

3875 and 4934 have been down Crook the last few days, due to other Pronto vehicles getting repairs, aswell as 6021 being withdrawn. I don't think there will be a set replacement for 6021. Just any vehicle that is spare at the time. When 3875 and 4934 go back to Chester for oil changes etc, crook will get something else. Maybe 3878 or 6026 whi knows

It's good to see another part of County Durham get a boxing day service. Hopefully it's handy enough for people to get to the bus station, given that Arriva aren't bothering to run any of their services to and from.

If the vehicles were likely to stay on the route for a while and there was likely to be a refresh, then yeah. It would probably make sense in my opinion.
The brand would be being diluted otherwise.
Suppose it isn't too different to the Gemini 1's that are utilised as spares, but are painted in the colours and contain the livery of the specific brand.
In the short-term, I don't think it is likely to cause too much damage to the brand.
Particularly as the peak runs use unbranded vehicles and we see spares on the route pretty regularly anyway.

Will there actually be any rare allocations to services this Boxing Day? I remember Dan posting a photo of the new indigo solos with the X1 one on, is there any relation to that? Why would they have Washington blinds as well as deptford ones too.

I think most if not all depots are open, so it shouldn't happen. Dan had posted that one service would be a planned odd working, but I can't recall what.

I think it was the 47 with Stanley operating it as opposed to Riverside. I think it will probably be Red Kite Streetlites though.
