What's the reasoning, do you know?
It seems odd that a vehicle route branded for the 'E' group of services would be allocated to service 30, when an example without route branding is allocated to the 'E' group of services.

No, Service 30 interworks with a 10 to Jarrow at South Shields and vice versa when a 11 comes from Jarrow.

The 10 and 11 interwork with 30 only Monday to Saturday daytimes not Sundays.

That's normal for a Sunday as it depends where the non branded buses are parked in the depot as the RTC that operates the 30's also does 1's & 2's

Forgive my ignorance, but can't it be pre-planned where a branded vehicle is parked in the depot?
If a branded vehicle is required first thing for the E's on a Sunday, can't it be parked at the front on a Saturday night? Can't be too difficult if there are 16 of them?
