Tyne Valley Travel now have W247PAU, from Nottingham. A photo can be seen here
Ex-Tees Valley M12TVC left the fleet a couple of months ago and is now in service with Reays of Wigton, Cumbria. It was up for sale again recently but seems to have been taken down. Pictured still in its old TVT livery and old reg plate.
What services do Tyne Valley Travel operate in the Hexham area? Going to make a visit up there soon and want to photo some of there fleet. I know they operate the 880, but what others?

Their website only lists the 880:

Mostly school runs beyond the 880 I believe. Sadly a lot of the quality in the fleet (Tigers, Leopards etc!) has now gone!

Ah right - Thats a shame.
Is Tyne Valley Travel the same company as Tyne Valley Coaches of Acomb?

I don't know if they're the same company (legally speaking) but they are based in Acomb near to where the speed camera is located.

It is Tyne Valley Coaches yes.

Thanks, guys. I wonder why the name change! Old Bob Hindmarsh'll turn in his grave!
Noted in Hexham today:Tyne Valley Coaches now have former York Pullman OU55GUK operating in it's former owner's livery minus fleetnames.
Anyone know whether the above has gained another reg as it doesn't pull on DVLA tax check.
Also XSV220 Volvo B10M - anyone know which vehicle this is, possibly M700TMS??

I've put together the fleetlist for Tyne Valley - currently only got serviceable vehicles included. There are a number of Leyland Tigers parked up!

If by the "above" you mean OU55GUK; I saw it the other day with gold Tyne Valley fleetnames on York Pullman livery. I was too far away to notice if the registration has changed.

Tyresmoke: YSU 920 is a Duple 320. There is still at least one Plaxton Paramount still in service, as well as more Panthers/Paragons. If I can find any more details I will let you know.

I visited Tyne Valley's garage on 23 May, well worth a look round. F782GNA Leyland Tiger / Plaxton Paramount was present but is withdrawn from service.

Is this the end for 'Moffits'?
https://www.flickr.com/photos/northeastb...783464743/ - Their solo seems to be having some work done, it better not be the end of it, I love that vehicle!

Doubt it'll stay there as they don't operate any services after the 880 was withdrawn. Probably off to the scrapyard.

Not far to go - Teddy Heslop's (as was) is just next door.

It is run by his son, now.
Do they not have any service Buses at all these days apart from the Solo as not too long ago they had a Delta a Greenway as well as a Wright Bodied Volvo wonder these are parked up in the yard out of use.So have they won any work lost by Snaiths or as seems to be the case has GNE now got a 100% hold on Hexham.
The Solo and DAF Myllennium are both for sale in RouteOne I noticed...
I saw a Tyne Valley coach in Priestpopple Hexham yesterday - it had about a dozen passengers onboard, but it bypassed the bus station so I don't know what it was doing.
At the same time, a Wrightsbus midi bus did the same - came up Loosing Hill (from the station), again with about a dozen passengers and drove straight past the bus station.
Could they have been taking people to the High School?
It wasn't school ending time - about 2pm.

Both were displaying the yellow 'school' signs, but those that carry school pupils tend to leave those signs in place.

I think TVC have the contract to transport pupils from QEHS to and from the leisure centre.

Yes, that would make sense - I wasn't able to accurately determine the demographics of the passengers but would have said that they were 'young adults' rather than 'children'.
Likewise the Wrightsbus.
B6BLE X62CHJ now sold to PCL Travel
I saw a very smart 'coach' in Tyne Valley livery (not white or blue, but beige and brown IIRC) driving through Corbridge recently.

Yes, that would make sense (having looked at York Pullman livery).

Two 'standard' white with blue writing bus/coaches seen today through Corbridge (different times but different registrations).
