Wrong.

You can use any train operator you like. Only rule is the train must stop at the place you're splitting the tickets at.

trans pennine is the cheapest as its their train you will be using

Transpennine prices were the same as Virgin. Naturally, I did look there first, since more transpennine trains stop at Durham than ECML.

And Boro to Scarboro by train is a lot longer than by bus, as the bus is more direct.

It's all moot, now, since Big'un has been swayed by the chance to see all of GNE's pooters. His dream job is being Dan, I think.
Route for the tours have been confirmed. Route will run anti-cockwise.

First bus from the Town Centre is 10.35 at Westborough outside Mother Hubbards Chippy and Spa Bridge lay-by at 10.45.

Apparently programmes will be available on the day listing buses and times which will cost £3.

The event itself will take place in the North Bay Swimming Pool Car Park between 10am to 5pm.

Anyone else still heading to this on Sunday?
Apparently, a provisional date is being looked at for May 14th 2017. Nice that it looks to be happening again next year.
